The man Jerry was supposed to call me back to set up an appointment time for the free estimate; never did, so I called another company .That company responded the next day.

Within 2 hours of my phone call, Robert, the owner, set up the appointment to see my daughter's pool and deck . A few days later he measured for the fence and answered all the questions that we had about the fence. He explained that he would go under the deck and put blocks of wood to reinforce the holes that had to be drilled. He and a helper arrived at the time we agreed on, and my daughter said they were very professional. On one of the hottest days of the year (Sept 4, 2014) they went under the deck to add the blocks and installed the fence and gate on the deck. It is an awesome fence and it was expertly installed. The grey poles and borders look fantastic! My daughter, her husband and I are now relieved that the pool is secure and we don't have to worry about our little 3 year old or any other young children getting into the pool area. I went with Sunrise Custom Fence on the recommendation of a friend who said Rob was the only one who returned her calls when she contacted various companies to get estimates. She was very happy with the result. I attempted to get another estimate from a large company here on Long Island and the woman who took my call said the salesman would be back to me within 24 hours. No one ever called. Sunrise Custom Fence is a smaller company and I dealt with the owner who also came to install the fence with a helper. They were careful and exacting in their work and the fence looks great! I was impressed with Rob's quick email response after my initial phone call. I also liked that he used good quality materials which were made locally on Long Island, and that his company is local since I prefer to do business with companies close to where I live. I am very pleased and would definitely recommend him.
