SPECHT-TACULAR POOL SERVICE

The winter of 2015 was not kind to my pool. The ice on my pool cover built up and collapsed the cover. Subsequently the collapse created large/major tears in the lining of my pool. Spechtacular fixed the tears in the liner so well you can't even see where they were. Also they had a new pool cover made and installed it for me at the end of the season. This is my second review for this company.....in my opinion they are the best and their prices are reasonable. If excellent service and work at fair prices interests you then you should call them.

I dont write many reviews at all (even when contractors do a good job) so take that as a sign of how great Specht-Tacular pools performed for me. It started with Dieter (the company owner) coming to my home to review our aging pool and give us a quote on repair and liner replacement. His review of our pool and how he would perform the work was so detailed and thorough I had to ask him about his background. My suspicion was correct...he has a degree from StonyBrook in Mechanical Engineering. I was able to pick up on this because I own a design and engineering consulting firm. Right then and there I knew his company was going to be working on my pool. Dieter spent a good amount of time with me and my wife reviewing different liner options etc and gave us a quote. The cost was reasonable so we gave his company the job. His guys were hard workers and did a fantastic job. Additionally they were very polite and were as equally informative as Dieter. During the job they found an issue with a leak around the light fixture and fixed it at no additional cost. The job was done to perfection...on time and budget without a single issue. Spech-Tacular pools is a top notch outfit that I highly recommend for new pools or existing pool repair.

As this was our first pool and did not know what to expect, they were always available to answer questions along the way. I was very comfortable knowing that if something may not have been right, there was never any question as to whether they would correct it. Specht Tacular builds a totally custom pool with many superior elements, using superior techniques for the same price as the other guys I took bids from who offered to install a cookie cutter pool of vastly lesser quality. You can design a pool exactly how and where you would expect it to be. If you live on Long Island, NY, you need to at least speak to them.

THis is a really bad experience. The workers show up once and disappear a week. It has been two months to finish the pool then forget the patio job at all. I must say the pool quality is good, but you have to wait at least three months until everything is done. Now is the third month, there is only a naked pool there, the patio doesn't start yet.

I'M VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE. HE'S VERY COURTEOUS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED. HE'S PROMPT, DOES WHAT IS ASKED OF HIM AND DOES IT WELL. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM.
