CORAM GLASS & MIRROR

I called them and they were supposed to replace the glass and it broke before they came out and it pushed the appointment back about 3 weeks.

Poor service, product is ok so far. Installation : they cracked a small tile and permanent marred white ceramic tile with their metal hinges so my brand new bathroom has permanent silver scrapes on it. I requested a quote and that took a while to get, then when I did receive the price I asked about the hardware and was emailed a link to a catalog of products they use. I had originally requested a style of handle then when I got the email it said to to get back to them with what I chose. In the interim I found a much more reputable company that I wanted to use so when I gave a courtesy call to Coram glass to advise that I was not going to use them, I was told that the glass was already ordered and would be in ASAP. Of course I complained that he should not have ordered the glass without my ok and he already had charged my credit card(!). I felt bad so I reluctantly agreed to continue with the job and I would get back to him with my choice of handle. Lo and behold THREE weeks later I called THEM to tell them what handle I wanted and was told they were coming to install it in a few days. I HADNT EVEN HEARD FROM THEM!!! but a knock on the door a few days later and here they were to put in the shower door. so they did, I come home from work and see the tile scratched, the tile cracked and what appeared to be a chip in the glass. Surprisingly the rep comes back a few days later and explains that its not a chip in the side of the glass but the silicone or whatnot needs to be redone...he takes a pic of the scratches and the cracked tile and I ask when I should call for a response (because I know full well the he is never going to get back to us) and he outright says, 'dont call us, we will call you', Ya sure, because its over a month and I call today and he answers and tells me the same thing he did that day...he will check with the boss and let me know "later today". NO RESPONSE. In short, do not deal with them for shower doors at the very least. John is totally unreliable and really unprofessional.
