Allen from Ansen was great to work with. He was punctual & professional and so far everything looks great. He gave us a great price on 2 custom skylights, with installation, patchwork on the roof & shingles. On top of that, he helped inflate my wife's flat tire. In the future, when we replace the whole roof, Ansen will be the people we call.

Exactly as promised by owner Alan Winnes, a crackerjack crew of four arrived to power wash, totally wash and clean off old coating debris, leaves, twigs etc. This was phase one of a three day process that included intensive clean up, affixing a continous monolithic primary membrane over the entire roof surface, followed by two consecutive applications, on successive days to insure "curing" of a high-build elastrometric coating. Alan Winnes at all times in every way took personal control of the entire operation, maintain contact with his men, appeared frequently on the premises, kept property owners in the loop, responding quickly throughout to any call and question. Alan Winnes and hs son Derrick are remarkably competent, temperate, communicatve gentlemen. Their entire crew were hardworking, neat , pleasant. We were provided with photos of the finished roof and restored gutters all of which look superb. I can't imagine anything about the entire experience that could have been better!

First contact: left voicemail msg. Alan returned call several hours later from form North Carolina Set an appointment time/date 5 days in the future. He showed up at precisely the agreed upon time. alan developed a estimate for the repair. We accepted and agreed on a date to complete the project. Project was done as expected, area was thoroughly cleaned, and repair seems fine after a day of sometimes heavy rain.

The original shingles have now weathered to a dark gray/charcoal color. The owner who examined the roof said he would the match the present color as best a possible. The shingles that were used to repair the roof were almost white (see photo) and not even close to the weathered color and prompted remarks from a neighbor, "Who did THAT repair?" Also at one spot both layers of roofing were damaged and only the top shingles was replaced leaving a void underneath and a dip in the roof. Not a good job at all! Update ? After a call to the owner, he agreed to return on the following Friday or Saturday and repair the damaged under layer that was not repaired. His son arrived unannounced on Friday afternoon with the same whitish shingles. I explained that I wanted a better match and he said he would have his father call me about the repair. Had he called before arriving I?d have asked if he had a better match, if not, I had shingles in mind and would get them for the repair. The owner never called. I called the company several times explaining that I purchased closer matching shingles and to please return and complete the repair at their convenience. Since the owner has refused to call or return my calls or return to complete the repair I payed for, I would accept his stated offer to gladly refund my $125.

They did very well. He was very honest and I liked the man because he was friendly. They cleaned up well and they were professional. I did not feel like I was ripped off.

Excellent. Alan is a very straight forward honest hard working guy. He is reasonably priced and takes pride in what he does. He makes sure job is to your satisfaction.

After receiving multiple estimates from $17,000 (Power Home Remodeling) to $6000 to redo our roof ranch style house, my father-in- law recommended Allan and Ansem Roofing who did their roof several years ago. Alan was friendly, professional, non pushy and he did not tell to over sell us (unlike Power Home Remodeling). He promptly responded to phone calls and emails and gladly answered the many questions I had. He provided multiple samples and pictures of the different types of shingles. On the day the job was being done he showed up exactly on time with his son and crew. The roof was completed and the area was COMPLETELY cleaned up within 7 hours. Two days later the gutters were up and done. Everything looks beautiful. He even called several days later to make sure we still satisfied with the work. It was an absolute pleasure working with him and I would definitely recommend him!

the work couldn't be done because of various circumstances including the winter. Their responsive at the time of the bid was fine.

We had a leak around 2 skylights that was coming into the house. We had several repairs done in the past, but the leak recurred. The last roofer who had come had made a mess of our roof and still left us with a leak. Ansen came and completely removed and replaced everything the previous roofer had done. They also noticed that something was wrong with the gasket around one of the skylights. Alan the owner took it upon himself to call VELUX and arrange for their rep to come look at the skylight. The rep saw the gasket itself was causing the leak and made the necessary repair. Since then, no leaks. Of all the contractors that had been here for this leak, Ansen was the only one to bring to light that it was the skylight all along that was the problem. Alan went above and beyond what anyone else did to complete the job and make sure our home was leak free. I should also mention that even after he did the work he did not want payment until after the VELUX rep came and completed the repair. We were not charged anything additional even though Alan had to come back once to meet the VELUX rep and then again when the gasket was repaired. Alan was there throughout the entire process. He and his crew are very courteous and professional. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

I got estimates from several highly rated Angie's List roofers and Ansen came in with the best technology at the best price. Alan Wines was extremely professional in every respect. A pleasure to deal with and I recommend him without reservation.

He was very polite, did a knock out job, did everything he said and more. We will have had the roof on for a year this upcoming May and have had no problems. The workmanship was excellent. He was helpful and caring.

Scheduled a date for work to be done. Alan and his men arrived on time. The work included stripping the 2 layers of shingles, removing ridge caps, removing vinyl siding, "J" channel and metal fascia capping, pulling the fascia wood at the top & bottom where the roof-lines intersect, installing ice shield along the eave, the wall and down onto the decking and around the chimney, placing in all new metal wall steps and 2 new metal vent louvers. A new"J" channel was installed and vinyl siding rehung, new metal capping installed and metal with cap over the upper "J" channel to prevent wind driven rain from getting behind the wall My entire experience in dealing with Alan of Ansen Roofing went very well. I was very pleased with his professionalism and at the same time his friendliness.

When I first contacted the provider I was immediately given an appointment for an estimate. The provider came right on time told me when he would have the estimate and delivered it himself to my house. The cost of the work that had to be done and that which could be put off was listed separately on the estimate. There was no pressure to do the work that could be put off. Deciding to do all the work I made an appointment for the repairs. The crew arrived promptly, were introduced to me, and immediately began the repairs. They worked constantly until all the repairs were made. After the repairs were completed the provider explained everything that had been done. I am completely satisfied with this provider and would not hesitate to contact him in the future.

Stripped shingles (2 layers), removed portion of rotted plywood ,fascia board, and chimney flashing. Removed and inspected gutter, fascia, vinyl siding, and soffits. Replaced shingles, plywood, fascia as necessary. Cut into brick and mortar joints of chimney and fabricated new metal counter flashing. Built out dead space behind chimney and added "cricket" to eliminate dead water collection space. Rebuilt the entire area back to "as good as new" and even better condition. The replacement shingles matched the old shingles on the roof. Alan the owner even had to pick up some additional siding to complete the rebuilt wall and found perfectly matching panels. Also installed ice shield over entire repair area and exposed decking and added felt moisture barrier over the new wall behind the chimney. The work was as professional as it could be. These are craftsmen who take great pride in the work they perform. Alan, the business owner returned phone calls as promised, showed up promptly for estimates as well as for the actual job. His crew was on time, hardworking, polite, neat and very helpful. Know one likes to spend money on repairs like this, but you don't mind when you have these kinds of results. If your roof needs repair, you owe it to yourself to at least have Ansen Roof Systems come and give you an estimate of what needs to be done.

They arrived at the time given. All of the work crew were very polite & professional. They cleaned up so good that the yard looked better after they were done. I would highly recommend them.
