They were uninformed about available furnaces and that led to our purchase of a very loud unit. They insisted on repkacing our perfectly good thermostat that was already set to times and temps. Worse, they never left instructions for the new thermostat and "couldn't find one" when I called the office. Carrier Corp couldn't help me because JDJ had not left the part numbers and, again, couldn't locate them. NOW I called them for AC repair (out of desperation only) and the RECEPTIONIST said "Oh no, you will have to replace that." Sight unseen!!! WTH These guys are unprofessional. BE CAREFUL OF REVIEWS INDICATING ONLY 1 REVIEW. Those are bought and paid for on Google.

They came in exactly when they said they would be here and finished within the time they said it would take. The scope of how the ducts were going to run changed on them due to me redoing the stairs but that was no problem for them. They thought it through on the day of installation and still finished on time with an adjusted plan. They were professional, easy to work with, nice and were the best price I was offered. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had been faithful to a different HVAC company since the mid-80s so when our gas furnace started getting too unreliable with cold weather on the horizon, I called my old HVAC guys for an estimate and options. They came and gave me an estimate to replace the furnace and at the same time replace a 21-year-old AC unit. Seemed really high, especially to a longtime customer, so I called JDJ Comfort Systems. I never heard of JDJ but they came highly recommended by my son-in-law who used them a few years back. I contacted them and Andy showed up within a few days, on time and masked up. He emailed me a few different estimates within hours. For the exact same equipment as my old HVAC guys, he came in more than $3,000 lower! We hired them and a crew showed up a few days later, also on time and masked up. The complete job took less than day. The crew was polite, quiet, clean, and unobtrusive. Andy responded to all my emails immediately. Turns out JDJ is a family business. I could not be happier with the equipment and work. Believe me since I don't know any of the guys nor am I related to any of them. Good, honest company to work with. JDJ is my new HVAC go-to company!

This is response to their excuse that they are pause and only doing emergency calls. If that is the case then a courtesy call to the person explaining what you were doing should have been appropriate. There are many other company's out there that are still doing business. If you want to compete you need to do the work

Asked JDJ for quote. Had wait a week to get representative to review my current boiler area. The took another 4-5 days to actually get a quote. Price was competitive, but went with another firm based upon the boiler manufacturer with highest efficency

They came on time worked quietly and neatly. Explained what they doing and went over how to work items when finished. Stayed until the building inspector came to inspect work.

Installation went okay. Installers started to unbox units on top of my formal dining room table and acted like there was something wrong with me when I told them not to. Units run very cold and never shut off. Have to turn them off to stop cooling. Called JDJ to remedy. They came out, looked at the problem, left without correcting the problem, said they would get back to me, and I never heard from them again.

The guys at JDJ Comfort Systems put in a new central air conditioning unit, replaced an old gas furnace with a new high efficiency Carrier furnace and added new ducting for an addition on the house that did not have the ducting before. We covered the job in detail before work started to ensure the air conditioner, furnace, and ducting was sized properly for covering the addition. It was a pleasure working with Andy, John and the rest of the team. They were friendly, dependable, and happy to answer any questions, and I felt the cost was reasonable given the size of the job. Even set up the registration for the furnace and a/c as well as the energy rebates. Highly recommended.

The experience was fine. They installed my air conditioner I have been using them since they installed my A/C in '08 or '09. They come in September or October to check the furnace and again in May to do the A/C. Each year, they offer a special and if it gets done in a certain amount of time, you call and book your appointment in a certain amount of time. You get that special price. The last visit was fine and it was the result of having forgotten that there was a problem with the A/C. When they came the first time, the A/C seemed to be working fine. But then it got hot and I use the A/C and it did not work. I called them and they came back and they did not charge me. They only charged me for the buying of whatever that thing is. There was no charge for the visit but there was a charge for what they replaced. They seemed to respond.

Very well. This was a great team who was on time, worked efficiently, and completed the work we asked be done. We called back with some additional requests and they were happy to do them and gave us a fair price all the way.

Quick and easy! About 500 less than the quote I had from a bigger competitor in the Capital region. That's like 30%!

serviceman was prompt. Worked on air conditioner. Explained it needed to cool down before he could diagnose problem. Returned later and found condenser ok but needed freone. Said we should be fine until spring, and explained what we might need when ready to replace the unit.

JDJ comfort repaired my 1988 furnace. Actually I thought it was died. They repaired and replaced the furnace electronic panel, and both my AC and Heating started working again. Its still working. Great trustable guys for old furnace repairs or installing new once. I 100% recommend them, and will use in the future.

The encounter went well although he did increase the cost asking for a additional seven dollars stating that he forgot to charge for tax. Aside from that, the inspector was knowledgable and took the time to educate us about how to open and monitor the heating zone. He did a thorough investigation and patiently answered all our question.

Representative was punctual and friendly. He did the job he was there to do, discussed any concerns with me and answered my questions. He did exactly what he was there to do and left. No complaints at all and would use again.

I purchased a foreclosed home that has an old oil steam based heating system. Although I have gas availability at the street that I have since got connected to the house for free by the local utility, the prior home owners were kind enough to leave nearly a full tank of oil. I figured I would go through that and purchase additional oil this winter only despite the price being so high. I was unsure of the condition of the heating system, as the burner is pretty old. JDJ serviced it for me with a deal I found on Angie's List. They did charge me an additional $149.00 due to it being a messy oil system, but the work was fast, professional, and trustworthy. You figure a dishonest company could take advantage of a new home buyer with an old heating system, but their representative assuaged my fears of the old heating system by cleaning, firing it up, and stating I will fine for quite awhile. The service was straight to the point and the rep was gone in about an hour. I wish I had used them when I got my gas connected to my kitchen stove, because the service I received from another company to get that connected was a horrible experience. You will find that review on my page. JDJ is the way to go for your heating needs.

Went as expected, water based heat and the older furnace is pretty straightforward. They were quick.

The service was average. He didn't really do a full inspection on a second furnace I had.

We recently had JDJ Comfort Systems remove our 80% efficient furnace, that was located in the attic, and replace it with a 97% efficient furnace/ 3 zones in the basement. Which also included a new AC compressor and ductwork throughout the house. From start to finish we were VERY impressed with this companies knowledge, professionalism, and the need to make sure that the customer is satisfied. Andy was instrumental with initially visiting our house and giving a competitive estimate and answering the numerous questions that I had, both by phone and email. John and Tim both were very professional and courteous during the install. We could tell that they both take great pride in their work, it showed with their attention to detail throughout the installation. They finished on time as planned and made sure we were satisfied with the zoned air flow throughout the house. We will be using this company, and recommending to all friends, for all of our future heating/air conditioning needs.

Provider came on time and was professional. Inspected and cleaned our furnace. We are preparing to move and asked that he make sure our furnace was in good condition and ready for home inspectors. He said our furnace was clean and in good order. He made suggestions for upgrades for future owners. He left the area clean. Because we are on a time crunch, he emailed us right away and was able to come work the next day. Would definitely hire him again.

It was a nice experience. I liked the neatness and the cleanliness they portrayed. After work, they went along with all the trash.

I used it like them to install the furnace so that I would like to install water heater for us. However , they charged initial fee without first mention and give us an extreme high price. We are not happy about that.
