About us

Empire Development was established in 2000 by Micah Meredith. Micah worked on small projects through high school and recognized early that he wanted to make the work of residential and commercial construction his career. After receiving a degree in Building Trade and Building Construction from Alfred State College, Micah was well on his way to achieving his dream of owning his own construction company. Micah quickly established himself as someone who could be trusted and completed many projects in the world renowned cultural vacation community of Chautauqua Institution.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND They did an amazing job. They were professional, competent and fair. I couldn't imagine a better team for a renovation on a classic home. The owner Micah Meredith seems like a guy I would enjoy have a beer with. He's was easy to talk to and listened to me. I had a great experience. For my wife and my first remodel job we were worried about getting worked over by the contractor. Micah made us feel comfortable and we feel like he had our best interests in mind the entire time.
Description of Work: We purchased a great 1905 home that needed some remodeling. The major project was the kitchen but other work like a patio, chimney repair, refinishing hardwood floors, remodeling a 1/2 bath, some roof work and some window installation was also done.
