McLeod Remodeling

Mr. McLeod was not going to use shims to plumb, square and level our entrance door (with sidelights) until I insisted. He stated he had installed HUNDREDS of doors and never used shims. I should have sent him home then. He could not get door to close properly or have equal gaps on door top to bottom. He said it was the door manufactures fault.

Although this was a small project, repairing front stairs, Sean did a wonderful job for a great price, and we feel safer going up and down the stairs. Sean and his helper- Mark- have worked on my home for two years now! Quite frankly, there isn't much that Sean can't do. He is so creative. If the conventional way of doing it doesn't work, he uses his creativity to come up with a new, unique method of solving the problem. This alone makes him head and heels above the competition!! Sean's prices are very reasonable, and his work is outstanding. Obviously, I would highly recommend him since I've already used his services on more than one occasion myself! To date, he has built my deck, repaired all of my rotted windows, insulated and painted my garage ceiling, replaced and painted rotted wood in the garage door frame....the list goes on! There isn't much he can't do. Sean' s company- Sean McLeod Remodeling- has been the answer to all of my repair/remodel projects. I'm sure you will be thrilled if you hire him too!!

Friendly, honest. Didn't try to push other sales to increase job. The were very specific with quote exactly what I needed done. I was very impressed especially being on a fixed income, they are very affordable. I recommend them highly.

I left messages at several places but Sean and his team were the only ones who called me. Two days later they were at my house, installing two porch double hung windows to replace the ones I had hit with snowblower debris. They replaced an area that had dry rot, and also re-hung some of my shingles. Beautiful job! Very well done. And very reasonable. When I'm ready to do the rest of the porch. Sean will be the one I call.

Sean is our go to guy. He is trust worthy and fair. That is extremely hard to find in New York.

Sean was very professional. During our deck renovation he found another layer of deck under the top layer that had tar and plywood layered. He and his helper Joe (always showed up for work at least 30 minutes early) took on the task of removing it. We didn't know that it was there before. I wish that home advisor would let me post photos. We had him replace deck with composite decking and railing with vinyl railing. He came in on budget and was done 2 days early.

Sean is a very conscientious worker. Any issue that arose, or concern he had, he would notifiy me (I was at home during most of the work) and clearly discuss what he discovered and what his recommendation was. He wanted to ensure I knew exactly what he was doing. Very good customer interaction. He did an excellent job and stayed within the time estimate he quoted. I only want to replace my exterior door once and I am certain that I will never have to revisit this project because of the high quality job Sean and company did.

I can't say enough about this company. I had new windows put in; Sean had to actually build the frame for one of them; it was a picture window that held 4 double hungs. What an amazing job he did with that one and the bay window. His work is perfection. Their estimate was very affordable and the work done in the time he allotted. I have used McLeod 2x now and will do it again if need be. Will definitely recommend his work.
