This company was hired in November 2024 for a bathroom remodel. A substantial amount of money was given for a deposit but after some co-op application issues, the project was canceled. After several false promises, ignored texts, emails and phone calls, the deposit wasn't returned until February 2025. However, the owner is now withholding a portion ($500) of the deposit as blackmail to remove my previous review (December 2024).

I hired Jacob Galdamez from Goldstein General Contractors for a bathroom renovation, and unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing. Not only was the project delayed, but the contractor also failed to meet several agreed-upon terms. A license and COI was required for the project, but he couldn't deliver the requred documents although he claimed he had it. What?s worse, they are refusing to return the money I paid upfront, despite not even starting the renovation. I have tried reaching out multiple times, but my messages and calls have been fruitless. He promises to give the money back by the end of the week but I haven't recieved anything (it has been several weeks). This lack of communication and refusal to refund the money is unprofessional and unacceptable. Do not hire this company.

Jacob and his crew were efficient when renovating my bathroom and roof. The worked to my satisfaction which left me pleased with the outcome. I would hire them again in the future.

Excellent. Jacob and his entire team are efficient, courteous and professional. I had my attic remodeled and my back steps done with a beautiful handcrafted awning. They keep you updated every step of the way. The price quoted was very reasonable. The projects were completed in the timeframe they provided. I was very very happy with the fact that they are organized and clean as they work! I highly recommend Goldstein General Contractors.

Jacob is a great contractor. He was professional and always willing to work with me with pricing if anything changes due to additional work need to be done. He’s very attentive to details and listen to any concerns I have pertaining to the job plus do his best to accommodate. I will definitely recommend.
