Description of Work: Interestingly enough they never called back! That's what someone else had complained about and had given them a poor review for. They asked for the opportunity for a second chance so I figured I'd give them one since they were local. They woman who answered the phone took all my information when I called and said he'd get back to me but he never did! So it's an "F" again for returned phone calls and estimates for customers. Even if you think the job is too small at least have the courtesy to call back!

Description of Work: My toilet wouldn't flush and he diagnosed that the problem was that the chlorox tank cleaning tablet I had put in the tank had eaten away at the toilet's workings and thats why the flapper would not sit properly when flushed. He shaved away at the foam seal and replaced the flapper and so far its working like a charm.

+ -1 moreWe called and were told to wait until next week. Peter came on time and examined the area of suspected leaking. He cut out a hole in the bathroom ceiling and examined further. None was found. Charged $100.00 and told to keep an eye and call him if anything materializes. Hopefully not! Lovely person.
Description of Work: Leak was reported. Examined the area and cut out a hole in the ceiling to confirm. No leak discovered. Very nice and respectful.

+ -1 moreHe is reliable and does the job that he needs to do. He charges only for the time that he is there because usually plumbers are paid by the hour. One time he came when we had some thick snow storm and he needed to get a water meter. He was very nice and I think it's a father, son type of business. I've used him probably between five and ten times. I think his prices are competitive but like I said he doesn't charge me for an hour. He's fair in price. He did go the extra mile when I had problems with my boiler because one guy said I needed a plumber and one said I needed to contact the boiler company. He does respond quickly when you have an emergency.

Description of Work: Had 1/2 of my house switched from radiant to baseboard heating - ran additional piping, put in a kick heater, the baseboard, some work through slab floor. Left everything neat and clean, there was 1 minor imperfection, which he literally ran over to fix the next day. Even with a follow up call, and to my surprise, a drive by and ask as I was walking my dog - it ends up he lived in my area and just saw me and asked. Left everything clean and neat. No complaints at all. Professional and courteous.

Description of Work: Peter came and looked at the leak in the bathroom shower. Hot & Cold. They were a special make and asked if I had the original bill. I did and called the factory. It was in stock. They sent them. He came back and fixed the leak.

+ 0 moreWe had our old radient heating system replaced with baseboard because we kept getting leaks and we are on a concrete slab so mold would develop. They replaced the system . There was a lot of dust because they had to jack hammer thru concrete in certain areas, but they were pretty good about clean up
