custom cabinets
+ -1 moreWe have been waiting for 16 weeks and we have no cabinets and every time we call they say it will be another 3 weeks. Our contractor is waiting to install the cabinets along with our dining room that was added on. It seems that the company that makes the cabinets(Maax) is being taken over by another company(Fabritec). They can't divulge information, but it appears that Kitchens for Less hasn't paid them, so our cabinets won't be released. My husband was verbally abused when calling for an update on our cabinets. The owner told my husband that the salesman who dealt with us has been fired and one owner is trying to buy the other out. All I know is that I paid them $5,000.00 in good faith, and I have nothing to show for it. I am telling my story, so others won't suffer as we have. What's a customer to do?
Description of Work: Ordered kitchen cabinets that we fell in love with at the Home Expo at the coliseum. Put a $5,000.00 deposit on cabinets and were told that it would take 8-10 weeks as they were coming from Canada.

+ -1 moreOUR NEW CABINETS ARE SO BEAUTIFUL. THE WOOD GRAIN STANDS OUT AND THEY ARE ALL LINED UP PERFECTLY. THIS COMPANY HAS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ALWAYS HAS SMILING WORKERS.
Description of Work: THEY REMODELED MY KITCHEN CABINETS.

+ -1 moreTHE KITCHEN DID NOT EVEN LOOK THE SAME. THE NEW CABINETS BROUGHT OUT THE MARBLE COUNTERTOPS AND MATCHING TILE ON THE FLOOR! THIS COMPANY PROVIDES GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

+ -1 moreI WOULD NOT RECOMMEND KITCHENS FOR LESS TO WALK MY DOG. THEY TOOK MY MONEY FOR A JOB THAT NEVER GOT DONE. IT WAS A DISASTER TRYING TO WORK WITH THEM. THEY FORGOT TO ORDER THINGS AND WHAT THEY DID ORDER DID NOT FIT. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY.
