We used Fine Finish Construction to build an outbuilding from scratch, foundation, framing, electrical, exterior and interior finish. The job went well, was completed on-time and on-cost, which is rare these days. Vinnie is knowledgeable and visited the site many times during the construction and his staff are easy to deal with. I would certainly use Fine Finish for future work.

Before hiring Vinnie (Fine Finish) we met other clients in the neighborhood who were using him and they gave him stellar reviews. We met with multiple contractors and not only did Vinnie give us the best price for the services we needed I hired Vinnie to start a project that included redoing 3 bathrooms, complete basement renovation, all windows and siding and they started in April of 2022. Throughout the project we had various changes and additions and he was very accommodating even day of changes and the additional services that we requested were priced reasonably. If I had to remodel the house again or another house Vinnie would be my first call. Thank you so much Vinnie and the Fine Finish team for a job well done.

Met w/ many contractors and decided to go with Fine Finish for a major home renovation. Chopped off and rebuilt the entire 2nd floor and updated the first floor. Their price was very fair for the amount of work they did. And Vinny knew what he was talking about. Whenever there was a dispute between him and the architect or him and a tradesman, Vinny was always right. He told me at the beginning we would encounter problems along the way, which happens during every project, and not to be surprised. When we encountered problems he discussed options with me and he helped me make tough decisions easier so that we could then move forward. At one point he even got on the phone with me and a window company which shall not be named, to fight on my behalf knowing that they were taking advantage of me. Vinny is a straight shooter, tells you exactly what he is thinking without sugar coating anything. Some people would get turned off by that, but I appreciate somebody who is not going to BS me. There were times that I wished him and his company communicated a little more with me proactively as I felt that I was the one usually reaching out to find out information and see where we were at with the project. But this was during COVID times when contractors were extremely busy. With that being said, any time I reached out to Vinny, he ALWAYS either answered his phone or got back to me. He was not difficult to get in touch with. Lastly, we recently had a very minor problem that we thought might have resulted from the construction that he did which was 2yrs ago. He came over and immediately fixed the problem, agreeing that there is a good chance it was from the work his company did. That is why I'm writing this review today and recommending Fine Finish. It is hard to find somebody who stands by their work, and Fine Finish certainly stands by theirs!

Fine Finish provided a detailed timeline at the outset of our project. We were adding a bedroom to our home in Nassau Shores. We knew what to expect and when, along with a payment schedule. This was very efficient and helpful to us. Their crews showed up on time and completed their tasks completely. I have absolutely no complaints about Vinny and his crews and office staff. House needed remodel thru out from living room, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and the basement. We also added an addition bedroom up on the second floor. Vincent D was very helpful and detailed from the first day we met. Job look a little longer than I expected to finished but it worth the wait. So far we had no leaking or other issues so letâ s hope it keeps it this way. Just keep your eyes on some of the carpenters.

We have been planning a complete rebuilt of our home for several years. The project involves complete gut, extending the back, refinishing the basement, and adding a second floor. I was grateful to have found Fine Finish Construction who had done lots of work in our town. Vinnie DeLetto owner sold me on first impression where he was knowledgeable, understood our pain points, and came back with an itemized quote within days as he promised. It was also important Vinnie had a delightful office staff that helped me with all the paperwork from our financial institution. Once the project broke ground, the team effectively finished within 6 months including time waiting for inspection. Vinny and staff frequently communicated with us and guided us throughout the project. It is critical to have an open dialogue and build the trust with our contractor. He stayed within the cost he had committed to plus more. He was also patient in explaining to us all the add on we have requested for where we had total control whether it is something we wanted to do. He has an excellent team and perfect scheduling in order to execute such a large project within the timeframe he committed to. We now have an amazing home and see our vision come to life. We couldn't be happier to have worked with a reliable contractor.

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! Hiring Vincent Deletto of Fine Finish Construction Inc. HAS CONTINUES TO BE the biggest mistake of my life. I am going to start calling the company FINALLY FINISH because that is what I want them to do. I want a fine finish to finally finish my house. All I get is the runaround. Trying to get Vincent and his company to perform work is worse than pulling teeth. You told me on Tuesday 7/5/2022 that there was not going to be an inspection on my house yet when I was at my house on Friday 7/8/2022 there were inspectors from the town at my house. You were nowhere to be found... I had an adjuster come to the house on Friday to begin an estimate of how much more work is left to be done and he told me he estimated there is an excess of $550,000 of work and material to be completed. Fine Finish did an excellent job building an extension on our home. They paid attention to detail, answered all of our questions along the way, accommodated changes we wanted to make as the project progressed, and got the work done faster than we expected. I highly recommend!

Our project was to dormer out an upstairs bedroom in a mid-century cape. After obtaining several estimates, we called Fine Finish Construction. Unlike other companies, Ed Curry from FFC, spent over an hour detailing every aspect of the project. The cost for the project was very reasonable. The only delay was obtaining a permit from the town of Hempstead. Once the permit was approved, work was done at a reasonable pace. Their workers were courteous and skilled, everything was done up to code. In the end we have a great new room. I would highly recommend Fine Finish to anyone considering a construction project.

He was always available 24-7, texting, phone, or email. The employees are kind, courteous and clean. Always cleaned up the job site by the end of the day. He is very, very, honest and fair. His work was spectacular, as the name implies. He did an overall incredible job. I would, and do, recommend him to not only my friends, but also my family.

Excellent work. Very happy with overall product. Attentive owner, listener. Worked very fast. Dormer was completed in essentially 4 weeks. Sub contractors and every aspect of construction were phenomenal. Professional and trustworthy. We felt very comfortable leaving our house open to them for construction.

Absolutely horrible. Do research, see if they have complaints with Consumer Affairs and how many? Had whole 2nd floor taken off and redone. They failed to cap 3 steam pipes so wood floors upstairs had to be redone buckled from steam - floors all uneven upstairs even though the floor was jacked. They miscalculated the stairs, took wrong measurements. Found wrappers from whatever they brought to eat, etc. in between the 2 floors. Absolutely disgusting.

Overall Fine Finish is a great company. Vinny, if handling the issues, corrects immediately. All workers did an excellent job.

I would highly recommend Fine Finish for any type of construction work. Vinny did a room extension for me and some other interior work. From the start to finish, work was ahead of schedule. I am very please with the quality of work done. Also at the end of each work day, workers did a thorough cleanup. Vinny was very cooperative and he is perhaps one of the nicest person in this type of business. His price for the project was the best in comparison with three other companies.

We met with multiple contractors, We decided to go with Fine Finish, we confident in the owner of Vinny and his knowledge to our handle fairly home addition and remodel. We are very pleased with the Quality of the work by all the trades. They are all very accommodating, we were able to make multiple changes during the construction process.
