EAGLE HEATING SERVICE INC

We recently moved to Wantagh and our house uses oil for heating and hot water. The previous owner said he used Eagle Oil and gave us the number for maintenance and fills. My wife called Michael, the owner, about us buying the house and that we would like to continue his service. His reply was that he didn’t care if we used him or not, which was weird, but we ignored it. Our oil tank was on empty 8 days ago (Sunday), happened to luckily check it, so I gave Michael a call on Monday, the next day, but got the answering machine. I Explained that we were on empty and would like to have a delivery soon, if possible and to please call me back (I gave all the proper information and even my cell number). No reply. I Called again and left a quick message saying that if he is too busy for a phone call, please send me a quick text letting me know the status and that he actually got my message……nothing. On Thursday morning my wife called and also got the answering machine…..no reply. So Thursday late afternoon she called another oil company and they delivered that evening, very professionally. Today, exactly one week later Michael pulls up with his oil truck and tells my wife that there is something wrong with the tank. She gets me and I go out to see Michael. I explained to him that we waited 4 full day and since he never contacted either myself or my wife back we assumed that he didn’t want the job, so we called another oil company. He immediately got p***** off and very nasty! He said that he sent me a text message saying that he was going to come today and I went and called another company? I Pulled out my phone and showed him that I NEVER received a call or a text from him. I said that perhaps he could give me his business cell number so we don’t have this problem again in the future. He got extremely rude and said, “don’t bother, I’m deleting your account since you called another company!” I Said that he never contacted me and it’s literally 7 days later and I’m the one getting this nasty attitude? He again was very rude and said that since I called another company that he will never service me again and my account is immediately going to be deleted! He then threw his oil hose and line back towards his truck and said something else, but I couldn’t hear him because he turned his back on me and walked away. As a business owner he was extremely unprofessional, rude and downright nasty and arrogant. Naturally, we will NEVER be using him or referring him to anyone….. I guess I could not anyway, since my account was “deleted”. Do yourself and your family a favor and avoid this guy and his company, unless you enjoy overpriced oil, extremely poor service and being talked down to and insulted.

Everything went smoothly... it’s a lot more work than I expected... My basement is unfinished and wide open... and these guys were very good.... transferred old oil into large drums, cutting and removing the old tank... and installed a ROTH oil tank... They were knowledgeable, clean and efficient...

THIS COMPANY IS GREAT. IT IS THE BEST OUT THERE. THE OWNER ONLY CHARGES YOU FOR THE HEATING OIL. HE IS SO SWEET AND FRIENDLY. ALSO, HE WILL COME OUT ANY TIME DAY OR NIGHT. HE EVEN WORKS WITH YOU ON THE PAYMENTS.
