Update- I used Sal again and was again very happy with the quality of his work and also his work ethic. The socket in my bathroom was getting dangerously loose (it's placed right over the sink). It is also the only one in the room, so is used continuously for blowdryers, flat irons, waterpiks, etc. I called Sal and he actually answered the phone even through he was in the hospital! I felt terrible and said we could talk when he was feeling better, but he insisted I tell him what the problem was. He called me back a week later and came 2 days after that. It turned out the previous owner/electrician had done a terrible job with the socket holder behind the wall, so Sal replaced the piece and then further reinforced it. It doesn't budge now when we use the socket. I definitely recommend Sal and will not hesitate to use him again in the future!

It is so hard to find a good electrician who is reliable, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. I finally found that electrician when I hired Sal of AVS Electric. I had a number of loose sockets throughout the house and a basement light fixture that needed to be replaced and secured. Sal scheduled a first visit just to go through my whole house with me and identify and prioritize what needed to be done. Then he came back with his son a week later to do the actual work. In addition to the above items, one of my security cameras wasn’t working anymore and he promptly figured out what was wrong and fixed it. He and his son worked quickly and efficiently, and were done in less time than he had originally estimated. His pricing was very fair for both the parts and the labor. I definitely plan to use Sal for any future electric work I need done, especially now that he is familiar with my house.

They were okay. They were professional. They were nice people.

This was a big deal purchase. They were excellent. Their prices were good. I wouldn't use anybody else. I felt like they listened to what I needed and gave me some tips on things I didn't consider. I felt they were very customer friendly and very customer sensitive. I have not met anybody that is better than them when it came to figuring out what I needed and making sure I got what I needed to get whether or not I knew it or not. They are very knowledgeable.

It went good. He was reliable concerning his time. He was responsible and did a good.

Sal did a superb job! He worked diligently to work out various issues during wiring. The work took a lot time than the original estimate and he didn't blink. His work quality, follow-up and professionalism were very impressive and of highest standard I have seen in anyone. He did whatever it took to get the job done and in the right manner. Sal is very knowledgeable in his field and made the correct recommendations for replacing some faulty fuses. Overall his work ethics are top notch and extraordinary. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Sal to anyone!

The breakers kept popping, and I saw sparks coming from my main panel. He came out and fixed what he could, so he didn't have to cut power to the house. He ended up replacing the whole panel for us. It did take some time, because he works a regular job, and had to order parts, but he did great work. When he came back to replace the panel, my fan went out. He came back to replace the fan, and I asked him to replace my bathroom fixture too. I just had to pick up the new fan and bathroom fixtures for him. His prices were very reasonable and I plan on having him back.

Sal & Anthony were professional, respectful and extremely thoughtful! Sal explained what he would be doing step by step, while his son Anthony efficiently worked along side him. He took great care in completing the work. He wasn't our cheapest estimate but he also wasn't our most expensive. It's something about when you meet him that makes you trust he cares greatly about the quality of his work and your happiness with it. Glad we chose him!

Overall A good job was done. There were some communication issues but the job was done nicely and works well so I am happy.

Sal was able to address the specific issue and improve the overall wiring situation. Throughout the troubleshooting and correction process he provided updates and did the "right thing" instead of just making a repair. He took the time to fully address the situation and improve the wiring. He provided insight into another situation that can be addressed without requiring an additional visit. He was very pleasant to deal with.

Nicest guy in the world family business extremely honest, professional and knows what he is doing. Hard working was at the house until almost midnight on a Friday to finish the job

They did not want to do something that I asked them to do because it wasn’t going to get code. He made sure he wasn’t going to give me spotty work. He was very honest. I had him back out and he did it correctly.

Sal was extremely professional, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I live in a house with old wiring and he helped me figure out which upgrades were feasible and safe and worthwhile from a cost perspective. His pricing was extremely reasonable and I plan to call him again for any electrical needs in the future and recommend him to friends. After paying an arm and leg to other electricians in the past it is extremely refreshing to find one that is honest and looking out for the customers best interest and I hope his business will continue to grow.

Came out on a Saturday morning to do this. Fantastic service. I will definitely be calling them when I decide to rewire the house.

I scheduled AVS Electric and Sal and his helper Anthony came as expected to perform the work. Sal calls the shots and works fast and steady while keeping Anthony busy getting this and that so he can work. They worked nonstop and installed my switches, ran the new wiring and mounted the speakers up high on the back of my house. At the very end Sal discovered that the exterior volume control I provided was missing a part. So, he got my speakers working by connecting them and I controlled the volume from inside - no problem for the short term. He said he would stop back and finish it up when I got the parts. This was completed tonight in a timely and friendly manner. The job went over the time purchased and he provided and installed a new outlet for my refrigerator tonight at a modest and fair price. I highly recommend AVS Electric. I believe I will be their customer for life.

Sal showed up on time and was extremely thorough. Clean work and he happens to be a very nice guy. The price was very good as well. I would hire him again in a second.

It went very well. The wiring turned out to be more difficult than originally expected and the job took significantly more time. However, they maintained their very reasonable price, never asking for more money.

He tried to up sell me the moment he came into the house. Told me I needed things that I didn't need and was asking me for more money. I called another licensed electrician who installed both fans within an hour the next day with the parts I already had. He said they were perfectly up to code.

Thank you Sal and Anthony!! I don't even think their truck is off my block yet and I wanted to be sure to write a review! There had been a problem with the lights and outlets in my son's room and Sal was stopping by to take a look at the problem to see what would be needed when he came back to do the work on a date I had scheduled a few weeks away. Rather than take a quick look and come back in a few weeks as scheduled, he proceeded to do the work immediately and not stop until he had found and fixed the problem! Despite the late hour he also looked at other items I was hoping to have handled and quoted me a more than fair price. Happy to say the guys will be back in a few weeks to do additional work for me. Very pleased and happy to have found my new electrician!
