Description of Work: Gut kitchen renovation. I should have listened to my gut and went with someone else. Everything done shoddily and too many mistakes to list, but one big one is the floor- 1/4 inch gaps between planks that he (glued!) down. Had flooring man look at it and it needs to be completely re-done. He will promise you the moon, but will not deliver.

Description of Work: This was a major renovation. The conractor is knowledable and tries to please. But he overextended himself and I was the one who got shafted. He also delayed in getting me final prices until he was well into the job. You must absolutely get a detailed job scope from him and read it carefully because if there is a place for him to collect extra he will find it. He boasts first-rate work but there were nmany areas that were not. The electrical work was espceially poorly done whereby I am still suffering from it. To his credit he does have some quality people working for him who have a sense of care. He also did try to resolve the finances in a fair way at the end. He is a likable person...but i would only hire him if I knew he was not overextended.

+ -1 moreOn first visit, they were very responsive. They agreed to provide an estimate in a few days, but then they never responded, even to several phone messages. We saw their work which looked very good but if a contractor isn't responsive at this stage, it doesn't bode well for the future.
