I was expecting to pay $4000-$6000 for a new central air conditioner this season, because it stopped working last summer. I got several estimates for the replacement. Porco came and suggested I try to fix my existing unit. I am so happy I used Porco, they saved me a ton on money! I will definitely use them and recommend them to my friends in the future.

Our experience with Porco has been outstanding. Several different technicians have been here, they've come quickly, been gracious about answering all our questions, and they do not try to sell you replacements you don' t need. In fact, they made it clear they don't want us to spend money unnecessarily--they believe in fixing things when they can be fixed. When asked for estimates they gave us very reasonable ones for our water heater and furnace. They did a great job installing our new water heater. When we were having trouble recently with our furnace--the kind of intermittent problem that is hard to diagnose--we were about to resort to replacing it because the intermittent non-starting was so stressful. We called the emergency line and got one of the more experienced technicians who then offered to come out the next day. He found that the problem was simply that the control box needed replacing and thought that our furnace could potentially have many good years left. He asked us to call him in a week to verify that the problem had gone away and only then would we be charged for the repair. We really appreciated his professionalism. For $287 the problem was fixed and so our furnace lives on. We are so pleased with Porco. Side shoutout to Glenda in the office, she is terrific!

we purchased home in late 2012 that was being serviced by a national propane chain We wanted to use a local company so we called Porco to get a price quote. Price quoted was significantly less than what we were paying. Porco came to the house to inspect our fireplace/appliances etc (I believe this is required when you change service providers) and then we requested that they fill our 500 gallon tank. They called me on the date of delivery to advise that they didn't like the way my tank was sited on the property and that it needed to be moved and put on blocks. The told me it would cost almost $175 to do this. I told them that the tank was working fine for 8 years just the way it was and that I didn't want to pay to move it. Porco agreed to move the tank without cost and has won my loyalty as a customer.

I have a service contract with them. They are pretty prompt, pretty courteous and they are okay. They come when you do need them very promptly. Their price is within what everybody else charges.

I think they are a family owned company and a local business. They seem very honest and dependable. The vendor I had before was not as careful as Porco seems to be. I also had Porco install a propane tank to supply a gas furnace. I had shopped around and they offered the best price to do the installation. I don't use it a lot but they do come out and check it and it costs about $38 for them to top it off. I do get sort of a package deal because I am on their oil service plan. When you call for service the woman who answers is very pleasant and they are always quick to schedule an appointment. I have never had to call with an emergency however. Oil is high in our area. They are clean and neat as well.

The process was tedious, and it involved every room in the house, so there was no room unaffected. The final result was very good. We did have to call them back as they only installed 1 vent in our master bedroom and it actually required 2 to cool properly. They were very prompt to return to our home and install the second vent. We enjoyed a beautifully cool home throughout this very hot summer. Porco was great and we would recommend them to our friends and neighbors. We actually switched to them for our heating system based on their professionalisn and good performance.
