We contacted Airtight Services Inc. because we needed additional insulation blown into our attic to help address extensive ice damming and energy loss issues we were experiencing. Their pricing was very competitive and their job proposal was the most comprehensive and detailed of the 3 quotes we obtained. Additionally, they participate in the New York Comfort Home Program, so Brad completed a full home energy audit before and after the work was completed. We were able to utilize a $1,000 credit toward the final cost of our project, and it was very interesting to compare our energy efficiency report numbers before and after the insulation was installed. In the end, we gained 45% additional efficiency, overall. The entire team - Matt [owner], Brad [sales], Ryan, and Chuck - was incredibly thorough, professional, and responsive to our questions and needs throughout our project. Instead of cutting a hole in one of our bedroom walls to reach a tight space (as originally expected), Ryan was able to crawl into the space and insulate it from the inside which saved us from having to fix/paint the wall afterward. They ended up needing an extra few hours beyond the 2 days they originally anticipated to ensure the job was done the right way. We really appreciated their professionalism and above and beyond effort to make the job as hassle-free for us as possible. After the work was completed, we noticed a light fixture in our master bathroom shower was not working properly. Matt came back to assess the situation, and he fixed some loose wiring that was causing the issue, free of charge. We will absolutely call Airtight Services if we have any additional insulation needs in the future, and would 100% recommend them to others with similar insulation needs.

The proposal and execution of the job were both prompt and professional. Access to my attic is tight but the crew was able to complete the installation well and neatly. Next winter will be the test but I expect no more heat loss or damaging ice/water backups. I was unaware that the job would qualify for a New York State subsidy but Airtight made sure that it did, making the cost especially reasonable.

Diligent, hard working and experienced. These men worked steadily and thoroughly, explained all aspects of insulating and what to expect. They were professional, took care in moving furniture, were always on time and cleaned up after. I am very, very happy with this business and l would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Brad Cherin, Airtight's Retrofit Specialist, was quick with a favorably priced estimate and prompt with scheduling the work. When I asked why I'd be happy doing business with them, he said: "Because we do it right the first time!" He showed up to guide the crew who did the work, and the crew then did a great job with the project! I loved how knowledgeable Chuck and his guys were, how polite, and how well they cleaned up when finished. They went above and beyond.

They spent the most time determining what all the issues were. After starting project they discovered additional issues which they took care of without any additional charges. They took their time to get it done correctly. They were well informed and they had a competitive price. I'd hire them again and would recommend them to anyone.

I was extremely satisfied with my experience with Airtight Services. Brad answered my many, many questions completely and patiently. He went way above and beyond to ensure that the insulation project was completed on time and better than expected. In fact, the entire team did a great job while also being wonderful to work with. Besides the blown in insulation they also installed a bathroom fan and kitchen fan and vented both out through my roof. I highly recommend using this company.

Excellent, professional work. Brad promptly contacted me within a day of my original request, gave an accurate assessment of work to be done and scheduled the job within 2 weeks. Workers were professional, friendly and neat. They insulated basement, bathroom fans and box lights on 2nd floor ceiling next to attic, and Brad went the extra mile to give me upgraded fans at no extra cost when original fans were not available. Entire job was done within 6 hours and the areas were left clean & neat when finished. Would hire them again in a heartbeat.
