We were unhappy with the project. They did not pay attention to details, and there was barely any communication with us as to when they would be over and what they will be doing each day. When we asked them questions, they acted put out and bothered. We did not get the chance to decide on many details that we should have been consulted on. They just did things without asking us. They installed the oven wrong, so the motherboard was fried and we had to wait 2 weeks to get the new part, the microwave was installed so we have no access to the bottom in case repairs are needed (which they are needed already), the drain to the dishwasher was not installed properly,so we had a leak, the extension of our kitchen floor was not put in in a way so that we could put the hardwood floors on that were to go over it, they did not give us options for the location of the lights, or for having the recessed lights put on different switches, they left the grout line between the tile in our hallway and our wood floor very uneven, cut our carpet in our family room too short, and left it with very rough edges and with spaces showing between the floor and the carpet, and a hump in it, and left a vent right in the middle of our mudroom that they tiled for us. They left a bunch of spots on our ceiling. The cabinets that they installed are not level. They made a threat that if we didn?t pay them at the moment they ?finished?, that there would be ?repercussions?. They did not finish all the work when they asked for their final payment---the recessed light covers were not in, the carpet was still a mess, the grout line was still not fixed, the toilet piping was not replaced as promised, and none of the cabinet molding or floor molding was touched up. They had a very impatient and rushed attitude. They just wanted to get the job done in a very basic, non detailed way. There was barely any communication with us at all on what we wanted. They knew they left things unfinished, and they knew we were not happy with their mediocre work. They were very insulted and angry that we were not thrilled with their work. There was no interest in trying to fix their mistakes. Believe it or not, I haven't even covered all their mistakes here. We have had to hire another contractor (who we love!) to correct their mistakes and to finish the things that they did not complete, which cost us a large amount of money.
