Deborah is extremely professional and knowledgeable. She taught us so much during the appraisal process. She is also a wonderful, personable woman. When the process was done, I knew I would miss seeing her and her husband Lou. They are great people. I have had many appraisals prior to these, but Deborah's reports were far above anything I had previously received. They were lengthy and extremely detailed. She is simply the BEST! Don't hesitate to use her services. You won't be disappointed!

Deborah is fantastic! I love how she tells you upfront that she is extremely hard when it comes to appraising jewelry. She will not lie to you to make you feel better about your jewelry. If you paid too much or were lied to by the jeweler, she will be brutally honest with you. With that said, she examines the jewelry and gives precise details. Without even telling her ANYTHING about the ring I brought in, she was SPOT ON...amazing!! If you are nervous about a piece of jewelry you bought, go to Deborah because you will find out if it’s real or fake, the value, the details and so much more. We have never been to an appraiser before and didn't know what to expect. Deborah made us feel very comfortable. We found her to be extremely fair and knowledgeable.

Working with Deborah and Louie was a wonderful experience. Louie was very quick at responding to my messages and calls and set us up with an appointment with Deborah within a couple of days. He was very flexible at accommodating us once he knew that we were driving from another state. Once we met Deborah on the day of the appraisal, we knew that she was very knowledgeable only after a few minutes from the kind of information she was giving us on our pieces of jewelry. We took a written appraisal for one of my pieces and verbal ones for the others. She took the time to inspect every piece carefully. After she appraised our pieces, we got a lot of assurance that all the pieces we had purchased were worth the money we had paid for them. Deborah was very honest and very organized in her work. She pointed out a fissure in one of my jewelry pieces and she also assisted in making an appointment for me with the store(seller) to have us meet with their jewelry designer and exchange that piece for something else (which we could design ourselves with the help of their designer). I am working with them currently on this and Deborah has promised to help me with anything I need during this process and I know I can count on her!!

Lovely people to work with. I was so impressed with all the knowledge one person could have. I don't know anything about jewelry and she went over and above to give me information I didn't even know I needed. A+ in my book.

Deborah is incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, reasonable, and kind! She made my fiancé’s process of getting the ring appraised seamless and easy. She was responsive and truly guided him throughout every step! 10/28/2019 Overall Expertise Professionalism Working with Deborah and Louis was a wonderful experience. This is the second time I am using their appraisal services. Deborah is the consummate appraisal professional (incredible amount of knowledge of gemstones and the industry) and you know from the moment you walk into their office, they love what they do and understand how important it is to get it right. She had all the equipment needed to do the examination right there in front of me. She took the time and went over every detail of my coveted pieces of jewelry and spoke to me straight. From the start, you know Deborah is a fierce consumer advocate. Going above and beyond, she offered her services (unsolicited) with a ring that needed to go back to the seller for replacement and to help me negotiate with the seller directly. I really appreciated that. Deborah is a rare, rare gem!!

I have found the Wonder Woman appraiser of the jewelry industry who strives for the best going above and beyond and her name is Deborah villepigue. Deborah is truly one of a kind, she’s is unlike any of the other appraisers I have had the bad luck of meeting. Upon entering her establishment you are kindly greeted by Lou who is also an attentive and a welcoming person. Deborah not only appraised my jewelry, she gave me a world of knowledge about them that I was unaware of and she stands by her work entirely. Learning she has helped so many people through jewelry forensics who have had bad experiences made me feel comfortable. I appreciate her candor and honesty, she took the time to explain many things about my pieces and helped me out a great deal. Deborah is very dedicated and knowledgeable, she has created a special soap for jewelry which I love because for many years I have been using the glorified jewelry cleansers which are actually toxic and do not do what they advertise and need to be banned. I left with a great deal of information and a fantastic experience.

My husband and I went to Deborah to have my engagement ring appraised and had great experience. Deborah is extremely knowledgeable and we left her office feeling confident that we got a very accurate, detailed and fair appraisal. I went to Deborah to get a ring appraised for my wife. She was nothing short of amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable and detailed. We had an engagement ring appraised for insurance purposes and to know we made a good purchase, for the price we paid. Deborah came highly recommended and I now know why. She spent about 45 minutes if not more, and was very detailed in her appraisal. She also said she would be there for us in the future if there was ever an issue. I met with Deborah and she was amazing. She knew the origin of each of the stones in my infinity ring and was even able to identify where the stones were cut. She was was very insightful and provided a wealth of information. I would highly recommend Deborah. She is a very knowledgeable and honest appraiser.

I have yet to get the formal appraisal report. I guess her appraisal services are excellent but I haven't seen a report. She is a very nice woman. She is very informative and very interesting. It has just taken a long time to get everything finished up. I don't have anything to compare it to. I am sure her appraisal is spot on because she is certified and I know she testifies in courts. She is sought all over the country but she is very slow in what she does. I have no clue on price because I don't know what it would cost normally to have stuff appraised. When you deal with her, she is very professional.

We received an appointment the same day we called. Deborah was very knowledgeable about stones and craftsmanship. She was able to identify the age of the jewelry. She answered all our questions and wrote a detailed appraisal of four pieces of jewelry. She also looked at and gave a verbal valuation of other items we brought to the appraisal. This included a strand of pearls that she advised were synthetic and what turned out to be a synthetic ruby ring. She even provided a complimentary cleaning of my jewelry during the appraisal. I would definitely use Deborah again.
