Problem was that whoever was actually doing the treatments knew nothing about disease and prevention, and was just following a protocol of what to do. our crabapple tree died in September ( tree had been fine for at least last 10 years we lived in this house). Larger problem was picked up by a landscaper that the largest tree on our property was dying , and save a tree never mentioned it.

Steve is a very knowledgeable arborist who quickly assessed the trees and shrubs on my property.  He showed me visible signs of problems and explained that the evergreen tree in my backyard needed the most attention because my neighbor recently installed a new fence and they had cut into the tree's roots.  He explained how the treatment would help the tree recover.  A technician was scheduled to bring the fertilizer within the next couple of weeks to fertilize the trees.  I think the treatment really helped my trees.  The Big Deal of $75 for 100 gallons of fertilizer was a great price.  Ordinarily, their prices are a bit high, but sometimes you get what you pay for. I have decided to stick with them as a customer and I have been pleased with the results.

The workers were very knowledgeable and worked diligently. I was pleased with the work and how well they cleaned up but the cost of the work was much higher than I had planned. The charges were initially hard to understand.

All cuttings were removed from yard and placed in company's chipper outside.  The yard was swept clean of any fallen branches.

Quality service, and good communication with the company. Work was done quickly, and at the stated time. Would use again.

They pruned four large trees and took out the shrubs in the front of the house.

Service was A+ from beginning to end.  No problems, courteous worker.  I would use them again if I neede further work on my lawn. 

Steve was very thorough and thoughtful in his assessment of my backyard trees, some of which I feared were potentially dangerous, especially in the storms we've been having.  Some other old trees had fallen during Sandy and other storms.  Steve felt that one fir tree, which was growing out of the side of a small hill, should be taken down now.  He and crew returned two days later and removed the tree, and hauled away the chips and branches.  Several neighbors who watched reported to me they felt the company had done an excellent job.  I would call them again to do additional work.  
BTW, my backyard looks much better with the not-so-healthy tree gone.

Everything was discussed beforehand and agreed to. Workers were neat and clean.

They were prompt and did such a good job cleaning up that it took me a while to notice that they had actually arlready done the job!

I called on a Friday and the arborist Robert came on Tuesday. He arrived on time and was very professional inspected the tree for any damage that may effect the tree in the future. The next morning as expected he emailed me an estimate. I was expecting the service to cost much more than the estimate so I was very pleased with the price. Still waiting for an appointment to trim the tree however I am confident that It will be done to my expectations given how professional the company has been thus far.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They did a wonderful job. They were very professional. They came and saw the job and gave me a quote. They were there promptly when they were supposed to be. They were very courteous. His names was Steve. They went over and beyond what they needed to do in order to clear the tree. It was a good experience. I didn't pay any additional.

My trees look great. There was a detailed discussion beforehand where we agreed on the scope of work.
The estimate was accurate.
Connecting w/ arborist took a bit of persistence but the main office was helpful in facilitating.
Plan to use them again.

The work was very good. There were some additional charges other than the deal. They were professional and very nice. John, who they sent as an arborist, was very nice. The two guys that they also sent were very courteous and nice. I was skeptical on using Angie's List because I've heard people say things. I'm cautious and only have people work on the outside of my house and not in. I'm very careful when it comes to someone working inside of my house, but they were very good and I would use John again. They responded in every way. They called me when he first came out and I didn't make the appointment. They were very fast and kept calling to see, so they were very responsive.

SavAtree came very quickly to remove the tree but did not let me know in advance when they were coming. The price was a bit high. But they found the problem immediately and took care of it. It was done very professionally, with no debris left.

Estimator (Mark) came on time was professional and pleasant.   Arranged the work around MY schedule.  Guys came on time, worked quickly and efficiently.  Excellent attitude from all - from first call to finish.

Steve and his team from SavATree performed the recommended work. They arrived on time, were efficient and cleaned up all debris. Trees and shrubs were pruned as prescribed. I am very pleased with the work that was done.
