The man inspected the chimney and said that the chimney did not need to be cleaned. He found that the chimney from the fireplace is in good condition, but the liner in the chimney from the furnace is cracked which can cause carbon monoxide to get in the basement. He gave me an estimate to replace the cracked liner with a stainless steel one for $2200.

They came on time and finished the job very quickly, I wonder if it was too quick. I reminded them that I just wanted the two fire chimneys cleaned, not the oil burner chimney. The sweep said no problem, I know the difference between them. There was no mess to speak of, and they were off after about a half an hour. The caps were on and the fireplaces clean. That night our carbon monoxide detectors sounded in the basement and our oil burner kicked out. The oil company was called and responded within several hours. I told them the chimney sweep had been here. The flue was jam packed with ash and the oil burner could not function as a result. When I called and spoke to them the next day, the sweepers denied that they cleaned the wrong flue. The would not take any responsibility for the mistake. I was not looking for anything more than an apology and for them to admit a mistake. As a result I will never use them again and I tell everyone in my area NOT to use them. They are not professiona

Very professional. I sent an inquiry via email and received a call within 24 hours to schedule an appointment. They confirmed the appointment and arrived on time. It turned out that the chimney did not need cleaning, so I was only charged $60 for the service call. They did however indicate that we needed chimney caps (they were right) and we made that purchase. Once again they arrived as scheduled to install the chimney caps.

They performed the work quickly, were on time, and easy to schedule. Communication was sometimes challenging.

They were very good and polite. He said they had to come back to finish the waterproofing and they did. They gave us a warranty on the work.

The workers were prompt, (in fact they called me because they were available earlier in the day that arranged for), courteous, and quick. I thought they were honest.

Company promptly responded to a query I submitted via their website (mrchimney.com). Workers showed up right on time, and did the job very promptly and neatly. I also like that they have an answering service available when office is closed, in case of emergency. Price charged was exactly what I was quoted on the phone- amount seems fair, but not sure if it was a little high considering that the whole job only took about 15 minutes.

Workers were prompt, considerate and motivated to do a good job that pleased us. We are impressed with the care they took in protecting our house and yard. They took away all debris and cleaned up the job site daily. We wanted the new chimney to have the same masonry details as the old, and they worked hard to duplicate the old chimney. Their price was roughly comparable to other bids we got.

THEY WERE PUNCTUAL AND RELIABLE. THEY PERFORMED THE EXACT JOB THAT THEY WERE GOING TO DO. WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICES AND THE PRICE THAT THEY QUOTED US.

THEY WERE FINE. THEY ANSWERED MY CALL PROMPTLY AND SET UP AN APPOINTMENT. THEY WERE ON TIME AND WERE CLEAN. THEY WERE QUICK. I SUPPOSE THAT'S JUST BECAUSE I WOULDN'T KNOW WHAT WOULD BE A STELLAR CHIMNEY SWEEP. THEY'RE FINE. I RECOMMENDED THEM AND THEY ARE PERFECTLY ADEQUATE.

NOBODY IS EXCELLENT, BUT THEY ARE AVERAGE. I DON'T BELIEVE IN GIVING AN EXCELLENT SCORE. THEY DID THE WORK, AND I AM FINE WITH IT. THE CHIMNEY IS CLEAN AND THE COMPANY DID THE WORK ON TIME.

THEY CHARGED A LOT OF MONEY FOR THE WORK THEY DID, BUT THE WORK WAS DONE WELL. THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM WE HAD. I CAN'T TELL YOU TOO MUCH BECAUSE HE JUST CAME TO MY DOOR, ASKED ME ABOUT THE WORK, WENT UP, DID IT, AND WAS GONE.
