The whole process since the quote and the installation was pretty smooth. Tiago came to my house and suggested what to do based on our floor plan/house details. The installation started on the day we agreed and they finished everything in one week as planned. I asked them to come back a day after to do a few adjustments I they did everything as I requested.

Thiago is very punctual and professional. The crew that did the job was very good. Luis, who seems to manage the crew, took time to explain some unforeseen issues and corrected some broken wood in the floor. Thiago helped us save some money by having his staff cut the carpet in lengths that would be hauled away by our garbage collector. I needed to have the work done on a particular date and Thiago made it work for me.

The actual work was excellent to good. The crew was polite and hardworking. My only problem is that after the first two days I had to call daily to ask when the crew was returning. They were friendly and accommodating when I called but I was the one arranging the work schedule.

Eagle Hardwood Flooring are the best out there. They demo'd old kitchen tile and put in a brand new red oak floor in our kitchen to match our existing hardwood floors. When we asked them to remove the saddles between the rooms so they could flow better into one another they were able to do it. We were so happy with the kitchen job we quickly hired them to refinish and stain the rest of our first floor. Thiago, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with. He was patient with questions and when I asked him to use a water based Poly like Bona Traffic HD he accommodated that request. We were looking to use a Poly that would dry quickly and was the most pet safe. Thiago's crew were always on time and pleasant to deal with. These guys were very good at their jobs and diligent about putting plastic wrap over anything in your rooms that could get damaged by the sawdust generated by sanding. They worked quickly. When we had one small issue where some poly dried on top of the floor, Thiago had a crew there within 8 hours to fix it. We priced this job out with a bunch of different contractors and no one could beat Eagle Hardwood's price and reputation. These guys are hardwood flooring experts. Get a quote from them and hire them -- you will not regret it.

The job came out well, the price was very fair compared to other quotes I received. There was some mis-communication but it was resolved in the end since Thiago was willing to compromise. Thiago is a fair and accommodating guy but if you hire him you will need to be proactive about communicating, confirming and double checking what you had decided on with regards to the details of the job (stain color, brand, which areas to cover, etc.).

I called Mr Lima on Tuesday for an estimate, he responded quickly, call back right away. We set up an appointment for Thursday between 9 - 10 am. He missed the appointment time I called him we rescheduled for 12- 1 pm. He came within the scheduled time. We were having problem getting a new hallway floor installed, Mr. Lima discussed our options of ripping up the old floor an installing the new floor or refinishing our old floor. He said he would send us an estimate for each option. I did not hear from him so on the following Monday I called him he said he had sent the estimate on that Thursday in a program which I could not open. I called Mr. Lima and asked him to please fax it to me, he said he would later that afternoon. Almost two weeks later no estimate, no call. Not sure if Mr. Lima's work is fantastic as the reviews state never got to experience it.

Thiago and his team were great. I was in a bit of a time crunch and he was ready to start the job as soon as possible. He communicated with me every step of the way and kept me updated on the progress. I love how my floors came out. Would definitely recommend Eagle Hardwood Flooring to all my family and friends.

Deadline was satisfied and end product was above our expectations. Will be hiring Thiago back to replace lower level shoe molding. Thiago was always responsive and his team maintained a clean working environment.

Excellent. Thiago was very responsive to all my questions via email. They showed up on time and did an excellent job. The floors look great. They spent extra time disconnecting our washer/dryer and reinstalling after the job was complete. Highly recommend them and I would certainly use them in the future.

First type of finish I was not happy with, Thiago sent team the day after I voiced my concern and they applied a glossier coat that looks great! Thiago is very responsive through phone, text and email. He is knowledgeable and took time to explain details of different options. His crew were professional, on time, and efficient. Cleanup was well done after each phase. Overall the work quality was outstanding. Highly recommended.

Extremely professional job. Thiago and his crew were on time, worked extremely hard and efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. The craftsmanship was excellent. Hardwood floors were delivered a week prior to let them settle and get acclimated. I got many prices on the job and his was the best. I will definitely work with him in the future again and recommend him to all my friends. I was thrilled with the job.

Wood was of course dropped off two days before work commenced. Our technicians did a beautiful professional job that was done and gorgeous in three days! On the day of work, Thiago and two of his team came by. I had the place fairly well cleared out & it only took two of them to do the rooms. They worked diligently all day and were polite and courteous. They hung plastic to seal off the area being worked on from the rest of the house. And I opted for the dustless and to me, it was fairly well dustless. I was pleased with that aspect. I also felt comfortable with them here and as the day went on, I felt they definitely knew what they were doing. They worked hard and efficiently. At the end of day one the floors were sanded and had the first coat of natural stain. The next day, they returned for just a short time in the afternoon and coated the floors with the sealer. In no time it was done, beautifully. Thanks again guys!

I called Thiago for a quote in early February and was satisfied with the pricing. The service people were prompt and addressed potential issues with the installation, such as the raising of the floor profile (which required special attention on the doors), and was flexible with the timing of the installation. I was impressed by the quality of the hardwood installation that was done promptly and while I was away at work. There were a few minor dents made to the wall during the installation process that the service people were able to address. Overall, I was very satisfied with the timeliness and quality of their work.

Eagle Hardwood Flooring is Mr. Thiago Lima; I called, he promptly came out to inspect the job and immediately gave us an oral quote that was literally half of what another Angie's List provider had said it would cost the day before! He then followed up promptly with a written plan of work via email. It's important to realize that like many floor firms Eagle Hardwood uses a variety of crews; it is necessary to stay in touch with Mr. Lima via phone and email concerning scheduling and other such details. However, unlike another vendor we'd used a few months ago to do another room, the staff he sent out acted like professionals and completed all work in a neat and timely manner. They carefully sealed off the work area before sanding and proactively shared sample stain colors on our actual floor before preceding. A different crew came out twice to urethane, but the original pair came back to reinstall moldings; we were very pleased with their work. We'll definitely call Thiago/Eagle again for any wood flooring matters.

Overall, the quality of the work, responsiveness and customer service were excellent. We did have several misunderstandings over the course of this job including the start date of the job, and expectation we had around what needed to be done on the base moldings after staining (touch up painting when the floor sanding and staining were complete). Thiago was very open to a discussion, acknowledged that we had a misunderstanding and was very gracious in addressing the misunderstanding. The quality of the work was high quality and Thiago is very easy to work with and responsive. Highly recommend Eagle.

Of the three contractors we brought in, Thiago seemed the most knowledgeable about the floors and the price he quoted also come out to be the lowest. We were working on a tight deadline to get the floors redone so that painters could also come before we moved into the house, but Thiago and his crew were very responsive and accommodating from day 1 and finished the job within about a week after first contacting him. After having moved in and had more time to admire the work that they have done over the past month, we are extremely satisfied with how our dark stained floors came out with the satin finish. There was a minimum of dust left behind considering the amount of sanding that needed to be done as their crew also was conscientious about lifting the blinds up and moving window covers out of the way. All in all, we're very happy with the results and would highly recommend Eagle Hardwood Flooring to anyone looking to refinish their hardwood floors.

Thiago and his team do great work. We have used them several times to refinish existing hardwood floors, and are always happy with the result. They not only sand and stain the floors, but also replace any boards that are damaged, or fill in areas that need new boards, making the floor look seamless and complete. We would absolutely recommend Eagle Flooring to anyone looking to refinish their floors.

The work performed was of excellent quality so cannot tell where work was done. The workman was very neat. Although a bit late for the original appointment, workman called (before the original arrival time) to advise they would be a little late and came on the dot of the rescheduled time. Cost was much less than I expected. I was completely satisfied with the work and would highly recommend this company.
