The Vinyl King

The Vinyl King worked with us on siding our home and adding a gutter system. Our house had old paint and really needed a face lift and they did an amazing job! We were very pleased with the quality of the materials and of their work. They were always on time, efficient and cleaned up after each day of work. Chris was a pleasure to work with and always made himself available for questions, updates etc. We were away during the first few days of the project and he checked in with photos to show progress- I really appreciated this! I would use Vinyl King again and HIGHLY recommend them- our house looks beautiful!

we hired vinyl king to do our siding and windows. we got them off of Angie’s list and boy are we so happy we did. first the price was great. we did the comparison pricing for the type of work we had done and they were very competitive . Charlie called us back immediately after we contacted the company, and set up an appointment. Charlie was always very professional and courteous and even when we had a small hiccup where one of our windows came back from the manufacture the wrong size Charlie immediately got a new window out and again we couldn’t thank him enough for making that right . We were picky and we choose a custom color for the siding so the wait was a bit for that. but all the while Charlie stayed in contact with us and gave us updates and when the product came in it was absolutely beautiful and worth the wait. thank you again vinyl king would hire you in a minute would recommend you in a minute

I had the roof replaced at a time when the weather was uncooperative and scheduling was tight. The work was done in a timely manner and exceptional from beginning to end. Thanks to Mr. Charlie Vega. His expertise and enthusiasm was greatly appreciated. The property was left in a pristine fashion as well

The job went very well. Company rep, Charlie Vega, returned my initial call promptly. He was very courteous, attentive to my requests, and offered valuable insight and suggestions. The only hitch to the job was waiting for the windows to be manufactured, and the special order color siding to arrive, both from the supply company. This was understandable since it was already well into Fall, a peak season for windows, and the siding color was not a stock item. But as soon as the job started, it went through without a hitch. The crew worked pretty much from sunup till sundown to complete the job neatly and professionally in a few days. I also had some mismatched roof shingles that had been replaced before my wife and I bought our house. After discussing with Mr. Vega the possibility of matching these shingles, and the cost involved, he informed me that since they had the exact shingles on hand they would replace them at no charge. Their goal was to improve the overall appearance of our home. I also had some replacement lighting fixtures for the back of my house, which the crew also replaced for me at no extra charge. All debris and surplus material was removed promptly. We are very pleased with the quality of the material and the professionalism of the installation. We’ve dealt with several contractors over the years, and this was by far the best experience we’ve had. We would definitely recommend and hire Vinyl King again.

Chris was very informative, professional and supervised the work every step of the way. He was always available to answer any questions and address my concerns. The workers arrived on time, worked fast and were very efficient. They cleaned my gutters after and left my yard just as they found it. I would use this company again and highly recommend them.

I did not hire this company. Unfortunately my neighbor did. The workmen were unpleasant, including throwing leftovers from their lunch onto my property. When they left for the day, they left tar roofing pieces all over my driveway & yard. Even worse, they left two rusted metal objects with sharp metal prongs in my driveway. Luckily I spotted them before my dog and I stepped on them. It really shouldn't be my job to clean up after a company that is not even working on my property.

Run, don't walk to Vinyl King! We had a great experience with Vinyl King and their project manager Charlie Vega. Having just had other work done on my home with another contractor, the comparison was like night and day. Charlie was unbelievable in terms of his professionalism and responsiveness. The work was fantastic and they did everything he said they would do and in the time he said it would take. The workers were polite and true craftsmen. Each day my property was left clean and orderly. It all started with the bid. I've received many bids over the last year and more often than not, I received an email with a few lines of information and the price. Charlie not only sent me a comprehensive email, but mailed an information packet with the proposal, information about the company, insurance documents and referrals. A real professional. Charlie explained the timing on the job, and the overall process. He visited the job regularly and ensured we were happy with how things were progressing. When we provided feedback or requested changes, he did them in a timely fashion. We are extremely please with the work and certainly would use them again. Windows, Siding, Roofing? I strongly recommend Vinyl King and Charlie Vega.

The salesman who came to give me an estimate was not familiar with products he was selling . I asked him about stone for the front of the house and he took out a brochure and proceeded to give me a price. Within 10 minutes of his estimate he told me he gave me the wrong numbers and gave me a much higher number. When I asked him about this he became sarcastic and insulting.Although I used them in the past I would definitely not use them again

They did an excellent job. They showed up when they said they would, completed the job faster than they said they would and counldnt have been nicer. A pleasure to have work for me. If I ever need this type of work again, I would look no further.

The job went smoothly from start to finish. The workers arrived early each day and never left before 6:00. They were neat, quiet and courteous. They removed the debris every night, and we never had a dumpster on our driveway. Charlie Vega, the project manager, was at our home almost daily. He was easy to reach and no detail was too small for him to address. The job, with the exception of the deck, took about a week to complete, as promised. We have received so many compliments on our house since it has been finished and have recommended The Vinyl King and Charlie Vega to at least three people. I hope they call him. They won't be sorry.

The process went smoothly. We got one other bid from a company we had used for our roof -- and were happy with. Prices from both companies were very close. Chose Vinyl King because they were more responsive and professional though out the proposal stages. Workers were here on schedule and worked efficiently. As with any such contractor, you must do your homework to determine what you want. And you must supervise to be sure you are getting what was agreed to. When I had a concern it was quickly corrected.

Vinyl King came and did the repairs in about 20 minutes. Quick and Clean. Nice guys and a good job. They were a little pricey but I would use them again on a bigger job.

Vinyl King performed the work with a crew of 3 men. Very professional, prompt, and quick. Very skilled. Supervisor Charlie ALWAYS answered the phone or returned calls right away. Very pleased.

Chris and Angel were very responsive and informative. I had bought a fixer upper house and the work it needed was daunting. I had many questions and concerns and they were all addressed promptly. The workers were at my home every day possible until job was completed. The work only took 2 weeks which was amazing to me. I have recommended them to .my friends and neighbors.

Hired the Vinyl King to do work as described above. The sales rep showed up on time to price the job, was very personable, came with samples of materials, and described the work, and spent time to answer all our questions. Fast turn around on the quote and subsequent modifications and had the best price of 6 the estimates we collected. Gave us a 5 year warranty on workmanship. the rep also served as the project manager for the job and overall was very responsive throughout. A four man crew did the work. They came early (usually by 8 am) and worked till after dark with little or no breaks in sometimes very cold temperatures (totally busted their hump). They seemed to take their time with all the trim/window work (and there was a lot of it). They were very courteous to me and my family - seemed like genuinely nice guys. About 2 or 2 1/2 weeks total time. Overall, we are very happy with the work they did and our experience with the Vinyl King and would recommend calling them for an estimate if you need similar work done. We love how the house looks and so far the workmanship looks good. A couple of things would have made this a "A" job that i hope the company takes into account in future jobs: 1) cleanliness - i thought the guys could have worked a little cleaner and gentler along the way. Some examples, the material delivery truck drove up over the grass and onto the sidewalk, broken screens and windows during demo (note company fixed free of charge), we lost a couple of bushes along the way, after the job was done nails and debris all over the property (siding scrap, empty caulk canisters, coffee cups/water bottles, gloves, etc). Some of this debris was on my neighbor's property as well. 2) misunderstandings on the materials/work to be done - the contract specifically noted that tyvek wrap would be installed in addition to styrofoam insulation. instead a styrofoam insulation with a liner on one side of it was installed. I was told this material was the same but I would guess the insulation/liner provided is not equivalent to tyvek wrap over insulation in terms of price, functionality, durability, etc. A couple of other items popped up along the way where there seemed to be misunderstandings on materials or work to be done and unfortunately the contract language was vague and could have been interpreted either way. 3) If we were expecting rain, nothing was done to cover the materials or exposed parts of the home, which to me could lead to moisture behind the siding (and potential mold or termite problems). Exterior outlets (including the wiring) were left exposed. 4) at times it seemed like conversations i had with the project manager weren't filtering down to the crew.

they did a great job. the only "problem" was that the workers were not good English speakers and so we would have to call the owner to ask or tell the workers something. we got in touch with the boss quickly so it wasn't really a problem.

Overall, exellent experience with the Vinyl King. I had obtained several estimates over the past 2 years for a new roof. I had obtained estimates from large companies to one man shows. The roof qupte was for approximately 5,000 sq ft. We chose the Vinyl King, due to the competitive quote we received, the professionalism that was shown and the fact the company has been around for a relatively long period of time and has a good reputation in the siding business. One of our neighbors used them for siding with no complaints. We worked with Charlie Vega, who was prompt, professional and answered all of our questions. His quote was excellent and included all GAF materials. Compared to the others quotes we received, this one was very competitive. Charlie stuck to a quote we recieved a year prior from him and he did not increase the dollar amount of the quote or change the materials and he had no issue coming out again to provide an updated, new quote. This job included a new roof, new gutters, some new wood siding and repair of some rotted wood trim. We used the Timberline HD pewter gray shingle, cobra ridge vent, GAF deck armour and ice dam, copper flashing around chimney, metal roofing over a bay window/bump out area. The gutters were generic K-type gutter and the wood siding and trim was replaced with wood, no composites. The workers were excellent. They showed up on time, worked very hard, took limited breaks, and were courteous. We had some issues with cleaning up some nails on the driveway, but my wife and I took some time everyday to check this and overall no big deal. The debris was carted away everyday via truck, so no dumpster on the driveway either. The job took about 2 weeks to complete. Payment was the usual 1/3 up for the start, 1/3 near the end of the job, and final 1/3 after a final review and walk through. Everythiing looks great and we are very pleased with the end result and our choice to go with the Vinyl King. Of course, I will update this after the winter storms and see how everything holds up and if there are any issues with follow up! As of now, I would recommend them highly for roofing and would suggest they are a company that you should at least get a quote from.

Everything went fantastic! Charlie was great - he was very professional and he was able to work around my schedule. His crew did a great job and I appreciate it everyone's patience with my two four-legged little boys. I would highly recommend The Vinyl King!

Great job. Was concerned about woodwork around windows, were able to remove all stains.

The Vinyl King did a great job for us. The workmen came ready to work every day promptly and took very few breaks. The Vinyl King also during the removal of the old siding pointed out some damaged plywood on the house and replaced it before putting the new siding on. Our project manager Charlie Vega did a phenomenal job from start to finish. I Would highly recommend the Vinyl King.
