We worked with Vella Bath & Kitchen for a major kitchen remodeling, and then again for updating of our 2-1/2 baths. Frank does an excellent job as a designer with extensive consultation and preparation. The Vella installation teams we've had in our homes are outstanding. They are craftsmen who take great pride in their work. Thoroughly professional, the work always went according to schedule and they took great pains to ensure that work spaces were meticulously clean at the end of each day. The results are beautiful and functional. We have recommended Vella Bath and Kitchen to many.

Frank was very helpful from the very start of the project. We needed a lot of help just designing the layout. He saved us money by telling us to change the layout a little to keep the toilet in its original location. Kelley and Nick were amazing workers! They were very clean and considerate. We had a few concerns as the project progressed, but all were addressed right away. The price was higher than we wanted, but no one ever really wants to spend as much as it really costs. In the end, it was worth it.

Vella did a complete gut job on our kitchen into our dining room. I cannot say enough good things about the results. Expert craftsmanship is an understatement. The crew was professional and easy to work with and very experienced in what they each do. Everyone was reliable and dependable. No surprises throughout the entire job. I would use them again in a minute. Frank Vella runs a tight ship! Worth every penny.

Overall, they did an excellent job and my wife and I are very happy with the end result. Working with Frank Jr. to scope the work was a very good experience, we felt he listened to our wants and needs, and gave valuable input to the layout and selection of materials. The work was completed over the course of around 3 weeks, with work starting promptly each day at 7:30 AM. Everyone who contributed was professional and friendly, nobody minded getting sniffed up by our dog. They kept us posted on their progress and cleaned up every day before leaving. The quality of labor and the materials was top notch, we definitely feel that we got value for our money. Thanks Vella!

We stopped by the showroom and met with Frank. We discussed our ideas about remodeling our kitchen. He did not try to push design ideas on us (as did happen at another showroom), but listened to our goals and made terrific suggestions about lighting, cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, and paint color (even though I did the painting myself). He also took the time to explain to us the differences in the characteristics of countertop and tile materials and upkeep. The installation went perfectly. The team was extremely professional, courteous, and did a terrific job! One of the things we liked was that the installers were Vella employees, not sub-contractors. The kitchen looks fabulous. We will definitely be returning to Vella to have our bathroom updated as well.

Fantastic, a real pleasure to work with this company, they were punctual, professional, hard working and meticulous in their work. They were thorough and patient in answering all question. The house was well cleaned each night when they left. The finished product is incredible. I would work with them again and feel very comfortable recommending them to anyone else. They made a job I was dreading into a very comfortable pleasant experience.

After getting quotes from several companies, I decided to go with Vella. While they were the most expensive, I KNEW what I was getting! Most of all, I felt they would have the best follow through because they spent the time with me to give me exactly what I wanted plus some! The team was excellent! My kitchen was in the best hands possible. From complete tear out to step by step rejuvenation! It looks so beautiful! ❤️

They are expensive, but I think they are worth it. I like the communication. They are very open, it is not cheap but I feel with the presentation and follow up that I am getting what I want. Very good communicator. Very detailed estimate, pictures, a great job.

Every thing went smoothly and to perfection. Vella Bath & Kitchen Inc. in Macedon, NY is an amazing company. This is the second time we have used them to remodel a bathroom. Vella remodeled our main bath in our previous home about 9 or 10 years ago, as well as installed 20" tiles in that kitchen. They are meticulous perfectionists who maintain as clean a work environment as possible, cleaning up every day. They promised that all the bathroom remodeling would be completed in 13 days, they showed up as scheduled and all work in the 3 bathrooms was completed on time. The custom clear glass shower stall was ordered and installed about two weeks later, as well as the work on the stairwell to fix the squeaky main stairway to the 2nd floor. We could not be more pleased. The most important thing to know is that the skilled Vella team assigned to do the work were the same people who did everything from start to finish (with the exception of electrical when a professional electrician came in to do the work). No multiple crews traipsing into our home to demo, tile, dry wall, etc. We find the Vella team to be very skillful craftsmen who were also meticulous and obsessive compulsive to make sure everything was done correctly and to our satisfaction. From first contact for design advice through completion, everything proceeded as promised and completed on schedule. What more can one ask from a first class organization. We highly recommend Vella Bath & Kitchen Inc. without reservation. They are an amazing company that delivers integrity and quality.

Frank and his team of professionals did a great job of turning our dream kitchen into a reality. They were very knowledgeable and always took the time to explain what was being done each day. Any concerns or questions we had were addressed immediately. Can't thank Frank Vella enough and his team for our beautiful kitchen!

Frank helped us from our preliminary choices through completion of the job by his installers. We needed someone to help us coordinate our materials and colors and Frank provided lots of time to make suggestions and provide guidance taking much of the guesswork out of the process for us. His installers were professional, communicated daily and were diligent in daily clean up. We would use Vella again and recommend Vella to others looking for guidance in the entire project coordination. We are very pleased with the final appearance of our remodeled kitchen.

Frank was very responsive and thorough in his pre-quote work and in helping to recommend products for our kitchen renovation. This included new cabinets, countertops, sink, range hood, flooring, electrical work, and plumbing. The designs that Frank put together were close to what we had talked about but I didn't feel that they incorporated some of the input that we provided about layout and placement of certain items. My major concern, though, was that when providing us with the quote, Frank said "Your house is valued at $xx,000 and based on the average cost of a remodel in percentage of house value, your kitchen remodel SHOULD cost $45,000...and that was what his quote was. I got the impression that his quote was based not on what we asked for or what we needed, but on what would be the maximum amount you should spend on a kitchen remodel based on the home value. I recently spoke to a friend who had the exact same experience and this was also something that stuck in their mind. Recommendation to Frank is to not use this as part of his quote proposal to the customer.

First of all, it's a 110 year old house. Nothing plum , level or square. Also lots of doors. After deciding on the floors, ceiling, cabinets and layout a start time was determined. The biggest reason I chose Vella was the fact that they have their own crew. No subcontractors. This makes a huge difference. No lost time waiting for a sub to show up. Job went smoothly and on time and on budget. We even put in a new tin ceiling that was exactly the same as the 100 year old one. Management showed up everyday to check on progress. Craftsmen were professional and respectful of our situation. A job well done.

The gentleman we worked with was extremely helpful and professional. We visited a kitchen that was just completed by them, and the work was lovely. We ended up going with another contractor because we wanted a line of cabinets that Vella doesn't carry. However, we would definitely consider them in the future.

I thought they were very easy to work with. The overall approach stood out. It is not a high pressure sale, and I appreciated that. The person that we dealt with was Frank, and he was easy to work with. He was not high pressure, and just comfortable. It has been a good experience.

The project involved ripping out the old ceramic tile floor, removing suffits, tearing a wall out, electrical rewiring, and updating the plumbing. It was extremely messy work and the crew from Vella's made a big effort to keep the dust out of the rest of the house. They were very professional, consulted me and my husband on many details as they came up. The workmanship was top-notch.. The were truly a pleasure to work with! My new kitchen is beautiful; we are completely satisfied with Vella's.

They were professional, punctual, and knowledgable. The work they did was great. The price was a little high but I wanted to get the job done correctly. I would use them again and would recommend them to others.

Very bad update...I will say these folks did try to contact me a few times. That is good and I hope they don't believe this is their normal way of doing business. It is too bad they didn't watch things a little closer because I am spending my money with another contractor. I do appreciate that they admitted the mistake. That does say something about their ethics. But I still won't be taking my business to them.

We asked for three estimates and had contractors visit us. We had a standard set of questions we asked each, trying to standardize our evaluations. We had not done a project like this before, so we did not know how far our budget (originally 25K) would go. Vella came right out and said our initial project list was way out of budget. The other two did not. We at first were a little put off by this, but later appreciated the honesty shown in dealing with us. After thinking about it for a couple of weeks we gave Vella the business. They were scheduled many weeks ahead, but kept in touch letting us know how their other jobs were going and when to expect them to start on our project.. The work commenced on schedule, workers were there every day, all day. My wife commented on how they cleaned up every day. The work took a little over two weeks. There were a couple of things that needed attention after they left, but they took care of those, no problem. Ours is an older home, and I mentioned that I wanted the renovation to blend as harmoniously as possible with the existing structure. One feature of this is that we had very wide trim around the windows and larger base boards than seen in a newer home. This was replicated to our satisfaction. Frank Vella jr has a low key approach, which I liked. His father (who I think started the business) also made a visit late in the renovation. The whole experience went smoothly, so I would recommend Vella Bath and Kitchen's services to those who might be looking for a contractor.

The same two guys did the entire bathroom, which I liked. They showed up every morning just when they said they would and worked all day, every day for the week and a half to two weeks that they were here. They were always polite, respectful, and extremely neat, despite the dust involved in all the demo of the former tile, etc. We had basically moved from our bedroom to our guest room and covered doorways, etc with plastic and tarps to keep the dust to a minimum (helped but it is a dusty job...and they warned me!) Both guys worked great together and checked with me every day, whether I was leaving for work or athome in my office while they worked. They paid great attention to detail and were very careful coming in and out of the housewith supplies, etc. not to knock woodwork or track stuff in from outside (remember it was winter too.) When everything wasdone, they came back for a final check a couple days later to see if we had any complaints or questions. Anything we mentioned to them, they made note of, and corrected. They always called ahead to check if it was convenient for us and were very respectfulof our opinions. In fact, even last year (2 years later) when I called about a couple of things, they sent the same person whodid the original job to look at and take care of the things I inquired about. I always had the feeling, from everyone involved, thatFrank Vella, the owner, always wanted the customer 100 percent satisfied...and we love our bathroom!

They were good and honestly what happened was we contacted four vendors and Frank Vella Jr came in and we told him what we wanted to do and we told him the budget we were working with. He was the only one that basically said that there was no way we could do what we wanted with the money we had allotted. He kind of put us off but the more we dealt with other people we found out that he was actually telling the truth and we actually ended up appreciating that in the end. The work was good but there were a couple of minor issues that they took care of but the place was left clean at the end of the day. So I mean I thought they did a very good job. I would use them again.
