The crew removed the old driveway and put down new stone. When they prepared to immediately put down the first layer of asphalt, I asked Mr. Frey why they were not waiting a few days to allow the base to settle. His response was that the driveways in this neighborhood are older and do not need time to settle. Neither I, nor my neighbors, have ever heard of this practice. My observation of other neighbors' driveway projects has been that the contractor allowed for settling THEN returned to complete the project. One year later the edges began to crumble and cracks began to appear. I called the company and was told that they would send someone out to look in a week or so. No one ever came. Calls and messaged to the company went unanswered. Now 4 years later in spite of regular sealing and hot-patch crack filling the driveway is heaving in spots, large cracks have appeared, and chunks are falling off on the sides. I can not recommend this company!!!

Quoted in May, weather delay in June. They came by to say they are behind in June. Didn't hear from them in July and most of August. Job got finished in 2 days the 2nd week on September. Clean work.

Everything was done to my satisifaction

Pavement was very well done. Both effectively and esthetically. It's finally smooth! I had to fill the edge trenches with dirt. They didn't leave me much. Will have to trim the upper edge of the pavement in order to reinstall the timber flower bed edging.

When we decided it was time for a driveway, we noticed other drives in the development were built by Floyd Frey Inc. We are glad we hired them. They were accommodating to our needs, the driveway is excellent, and they gave great tips on how to care for it.
