Beware. The job he was hired to do, replace cement step and walkway, was completed a couple of years ago, but after its first winter was cracked and crumbling. It was a joke getting the job done; he always needed more money after my initial $2K downpayment for materials. And talk about nosy; more interested in what I had i my garage and shed than doing the work. His helpers needed help too. Sitting down on the job every few minutes to have a smoke; his wife even walked into my basement with a cigarette; no common sense. These people talk good but don't trust them to do the job right.

Wade provided an estimate on 7-13-21, and Wade said he could have it completed within the week. We ordered crushrun and paid him a $600 deposit. He had many items “come up” as to why he has not completed the job. On 9/7/21 he had scheduled concrete to be poured and said he would be here an hour before the concrete truck to put in the forms-, but that I would need to pay the concrete company for the concrete out of the rest that was due to him. The concrete showed up but Wade never did. Multiple calls- text messages- Facebook messages and no response.

Wade was initially very responsive and made a great first impression. He met my husband and gave him a reasonable quote and agreed to do the job. He worked with my husband and recommended which stones to purchase for both jobs. Once we received the stone my husband made contact with him and he said he would contact us the following week to come and do the job. We never heard from him again. He did not contact us and never returned any of my husbands messages. My husband had both his cell and an “office” number and left numerous messages on each We never heard from him and were left with a lot of purchased stone and no one to complete the work. Perhaps he felt it was too small a job- but we felt his behavior and lack of communication was extremely unprofessional.

Highly recommended!!! Before you spend thousands of dollars on a masonry project call S & L Masonry! Wade did a beautiful job at a price that was well below what other masons quoted. Saved me a ton of money. Thanks Wade!

S and L (Wade Snyder) was very responsive, came when he said they would and was complete in three (3) days. Only concern is that they didn't give a written proposal with $$ and never provided an insurance policy copy. Wade is very personable, knows what he's doing around concrete and did what he said he would. I was just a little uncomfortable regarding no paperwork.

Called Mr Snyder came to the house gave an estimate, did the job a week later Mr Snyder was the only one that called me back,very professional, very reasonable. Did a beautiful job, didn't think I was going to like it but it turned out beautiful, will call him again when I need mason work done.

A roofer who was checking for a leak noticed that our chimney needed repairs. She recommended Wade, and contacted him for us. Wade called promptly, came quickly, gave us a good estimate, and did the work within a week. I didn't rate the quality of the work because I haven't climbed up on the roof to look at it, but I have no reason to think it was other than excellent. He and his wife (who works with him) were friendly and competent. They were careful about clean up.
