Martin Water Conditioning

They sent a guy that came in my home with muddy and slushy boots and used my rug to wipe them off. When I asked if he had booties he saidyes, went to get some out of his truck, but then came back with out any. I then made him take his shoes off before coming into my home again. His business was to replace the UV light and the filter. After he had gone I tried to unscrew the housing of the filter but he had put in on too tightly so I called to complain. Later that week they sent out his Mr. Harold Martin himself. He said he wouldn't charge me the un-knowledgeable technicians service call (which is $45.) In the meantime, whatever he did by adding air to the pressure tank was causing mud to come back up blocking water from coming out. The answer to my complaint was simply to sell me more filters plus their delivery charge ($73). A plumber friend of mine said the mud wouldn't be coming up if the tank was flushed properly. I called Harold Martin quoting from the service invoice he wrote, "flushed tank thoroughly" and told him what my plumber friend said and Mr. Martin said I didn't know what thoroughly meant. I told him I was a former English teacher and I definitely know what the meaning of the word thoroughly is. He was arguing with me about the meaning of the word and that he would charge me to come out again and flush the tank when I had said I shouldn't have to pay for it. These people are notoriously overpriced in this area and now I know they are devious and not to be trusted.

We had a great experience with Martin Water. We made our initial appt and had a representative come to our house. During this initial appt we had our water tested and reviewed various conditioner options. No pressure to buy. We were presented with our options and detailed pricing. A couple weeks later we called to make an appt for installation. The installation tech was right on time and very professional. He did a great job, cleaned up after and was very informative. About a week later I emailed the company looking for clarification on a couple items on the unit. I immediately received a call back from the rep. The rep explained he would have a service tech come back out to the house to review my questions at a convenient time for me. So we scheduled another appointment for a week later. In the span of 3 weeks we had 3 different Martin Water employees at our house. All 3 were extremely professional, knowledgable and on time. Very satisfied. And the water taste great!

We have been very happy with them. They installed it in half a day. I just have to change the filter ever 6 weeks. They were very professional, knowledgeable about the product, punctual, and very professional while they were here. They had excellent cleanup and follow up.
