Yes! Makos' Jay was professional and friendly. He explained the entire job to me and gave me the estimate. He also gave me some tips on future jobs I was interested in. Although the weather was rainy and windy He stuck it out and finished the job in the time he estimated. Will use this plumber again.

I had recently hired Mako Plumbing to replace a 75-year-old cast iron sewage pipe in my home and I couldn't be more satisfied with their work. From the moment Jay and Ron arrived, they exhibited absolute professionalism, were respectful of my home, and well-prepared for the task at hand. They skillfully fixed the problem and their attention to detail assured me that the job was done right. I truly value the dedication and hard work provided by Jay and Ron. Beyond the amazing technical service, what set them apart was the personalized service. They were courteous and patient with my queries. Should I ever need plumbing services in the future, I will certainly call Mako Plumbing.

Mako Plumbing goes above and beyond and I for one can say I have used them a lot and they stand behind their work. I had a little problem from a previous repair and they came right away and fixed it even though it was out of warranty. I am a regular customer and they have never let me down. I use Jay and he is the best!

As always, it went very well. A message left with the home office was answered quickly and an appointment made to review various options. The sink was put on order and the job was completed in less than 1 week. Tim was polite, professional, precise with both the measurements and the installation of the new sink and willingly explained each step in the process. Mako has been my go-to plumbing company for many years. I have always been happy with both their professionalism and quality of work. I have referred several friends all of whom have been equally pleased with their work and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Showed up quoted price without even diagnosing issue. It was pretty obvious that it was a financial call instead of a customer service call. After coming to a mutual conclusion of repair issue serviceman proceeded to quote an astronomical price for repair. Company can set there service fees as they see fit but this particular instant was a disingenuous overreach. Will never use or reccomend this vendor.!!!!!

The job went well. My only issue was the price. It seemed a little too much but I'm not an expert and i didn't have the opportunity to shop around first. I needed the job done quickly. They came in very professional and got it done so I paid for it. Next time I will research a little more but I will definitely call Mako plumbing if any other plumbing issues arise.

Our bathroom sink was clogged. I took apart the drain pipes under the sink but the clog was deeper in the pipes in the wall. Found Maco on Angie's list and they came that afternoon. Very Prompt. They fixed the problem and reassembled the pipes I had taken apart. Very professional and quality work. If you are looking for fast, quality service I would recommend them.

The worker was punctual and professional. He explained every detail of the nature of the problems, why they likely occurred and how to best repair them. It was obvious that he was very knowledgable regarding the materials used including how they were manufactured and what made one superior over another. He also did not quote prices without calling into his office first. The work was very well done. Definitely recommended!

A week ago, we woke up to a very cold house, during a very cold spell, on a Friday. I called Mako because I have used their services on other occasions, for emergencies and otherwise, and have always been satisfied with their responsiveness and professionalism. This time was no different. I spoke to Nancy first thing in the morning. Although their technicians were fully booked for the day (as one would expect during a cold snap), she assured me that she would do her best to get someone out to our house as soon as possible. I think it important to mention how much I appreciated that the very first person I dealt with at Mako was so kind and competent. Nancy set the tone for the entire experience. Several hours later Stefan arrived. I was immediately impressed with his confidence and competence. We have a two-zone heating system, the trappings of which can be confusing to some. Not so for Stefan; he assured me that he wouldn't leave our residence until the issue was resolved. Several hours later, true to his word, we were back in business, heat restored. An added bonus, he cleaned up the area before leaving. A+, all the way.

I requested a quote for an Oil to Gas conversion from Mako P&H, however no one got back to me. I called them and they said the charge for a onsite visit is $125. I thought it was not fair considering that I had to review quotes from different contractors to make a decision. Unfortunate that a company would refuse to bid on a project/provide free no obligation estimate. Also, the charge for the visit is not mentioned anywhere in their profile.

Jay was extremely helpful. A Courteous and professional plumber that got the job done as requested. Fixed our various issues promptly and did a great cleanup job afterwards. We needed a plumbing company that we could count on and couldn't be happier. Thank you to Jay and Mako for the help, much appreciated.

Matt did a great job fixing and replacing the leaky faucets in bathtub. I was very pleased with the work. The whole process was explained to me before work was started. Matt is very honest, trustworthy, and competent worker.

Used them to fix items on an inspection report including boiler relief valves, expansion tank draining and service, check waste water pipe. Great work, and even came back a few days later to drain an old expansion tank that was causing a valve to leak. No charge. Stand by their work and made it right. No complaints to.

“Jay” was excellent in regards to the work done and his professionalism. He clearly explained the work which needed to done. He was punctual and efficient. It went very smooth. He went out of his way to repair the faucet and not replace it which reduced my expense. This company will now be my “go to” company for all plumbing issues.

Amazing. Jay was wonderful. Took two days to drill through concrete and wood, but he never quit. It was an awful messy job. He replaced pipes, dug through decades of debris and did a great job. Long days without a single complaint. Definitely hire again although I hope I never have to.

The plumber, Jay, was prompt and professional. He walked me through what he was doing and answered all of my questions. He cleaned up my bathroom after he was finished working.

When I called the office I spoke to Nancy and I told her I found them on Angie's list. I told her my problem and she said that she will get someone and call me back. She called back right away tell me that Jay will be here in fifteen minutes. Jay showed up right away and whet through the problem. He informed me that it will cost $125.00 either way if I hired him or not, I told him Nancy went over everything with me. He checked the dishwasher to make sure it was the problem.which it was not. He had to cut the wall open to fine that the metal pipe had holes in it, which he showed me. We went over a price to fix it and I felt it was reasonably. He worked for four hours fixing the pipe, he showed me everything he was doing. He cleaned up after he was finished and took all trash with him. Jay as well as Nancy was very professional and informed me about everything before starting. I will use them agai.n.

I found Mako Plumbing & Heating, Inc. using Angie's List and I selected them because they were rated highly and were nearby. Jay did a fantastic job. He arrived on time and was extremely professional throughout the entire repair. He even brought his own doormat to wipe his shoes on before entering the house. He provided estimates before starting the repairs and made sure I clearly understood what repairs needed to be done. Originally, we thought only one pipe (coming out of the house) needed to be replaced that fed the sprinkler system, but Jay discovered that the vacuum breaker had also cracked. Since he didn't have that part on his truck, he went to a plumbing supply store that was a little farther away to buy a good quality part rather than to a big box store. He returned promptly and replaced the broken vacuum breaker carefully. Throughout the entire repair, Jay was willing to answer all of my many questions, and he explained each part of the process as he was doing it. He checked both the toilet and the pipe feeding the sprinkler for leaks when he had finished the repair and made sure everything was working properly. I even observed that Jay kept a very clean and neat truck with everything labeled clearly so it could be found easily. Also, when I called to make the appointment, the woman on the phone, who was extremely polite, suggested that I take the first appointment in the day so there would be no waiting. I admire those who clearly take pride in their work and who complete their work carefully and competently. I would highly recommend Jay as a service technician as well as Mako Plumbing & Heating, Inc.

I deliberately waited a week to make sure the work would be great. It was and is. Jay did a fantastic job in a two step process. I will use Mako again and urge all who are looking for a plumber who will get the job done right to call on their services. Prompt, professional and ever so nice. A great find!!!!!

Quick, efficient, and explained as they went along the whole process. We were VERY pleased.

Jay arrived on time and was very professional and courteous . He did an exceptional job and was very neat.

Work performed...Replaced fill-valve and flapper in one toilet. Replaced old 1-1/2" sink trap and sink popup in another bathroom. Purged air at end of line from main zone hot water heating lines. Installed new expansion tank on domestic cold water line that solved a problem with air in the lines that no one else in four years was able to solve. Replaced handle on old toilet. Replaced back-flow double check valve in master water meter pit that required custom fit bushings. I dealt with Nancy, Jay and Rich. The company was responsive at all times. They showed up on time. They were pleasant to work with. They stayed all day plus 3 hours the following day to complete job. All work was done in a professional manner. No complaints and very satisfied with the level of their expertise.
