They came on Saturday and replaced a faucet in my kitchen that needed fixing.

He showed up on time, was professional and knowledgeable. Completed the job in about 20 mins. Very clean.

My husband called and told them we had a bad clog and would like someone to come look at it. A pleasant woman spoke with him for just a few minutes and then said someone would be there within the hour. And Robert showed up as promised! He spent a good deal of time working on the clog with the hand-held drain cleaning machine. He explained what kind of pipes we had that made it difficult to get to the clog. In the past someone had installed a "T" pipe vs. a "Y" so it was a bit of a struggle BUT he got the water flowing again! What a relief! He also suggested we use a drain treatment to help prevent the future hair, etc. buildup in the pipes. We intend to take care of that right away. Lastly, we used our Angie's list coupon as a new customer (thank you Angie!) and all is well. We would definitely recommend Mako and Robert again.

I have used Mako Plumbing for many small jobs over the past 4 years. They have always been timely and finish the work as promised. We have worked with several of their plumbers over the years and have had excellent experiences with each. We finally decided that it was time to upgrade our boiler and hot water tank. We have small children at home so we do not like to trust just anyone to perform a significant job in our house. First of all, we need to be confident that the plumbers are competent, pay attention to the details, and most importantly put a premium on safety. After interviewing and receiving quotes from multiple plumbing companies, we were confident that we made the right decision with Mako. The price is fair but not rock bottom. I would not recommend hiring rock bottom priced plumbers to do this type of work anyway, Ricky and his crew came as scheduled and finished the job in two days. Their work was fantastic. Not only did they keep the promised timeline, they were very courteous and respectful of our home. They understood that a family with kids actually lives in the house and minimal disruption to our daily routine is highly appreciated. After the job was done and the balance fully paid off, we needed Ricky to come back to our house to readjust a faulty baseboard and faucet. Once again, he showed up on time as promised and stayed well longer than anticipated to make sure the work was done right. For anyone who has had major work done on their homes before, one of the biggest fears is the lack of after-service once the balance is paid off. You will not run into that problem with Mako Plumbing. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for competence, reliability, and professionalism in your plumber.

Appointment was for 8:00 A.M. Jay arrived on time, unfortunately I was unable to get off of work so the tenant had to let him in. As soon as Jay had a chance to take a look at the sink he called me to inform me of the work needed and the price, also texted me pictures of work done.

Did a very professional job. Very personable. They were very accommodating for our schedule as well. We were pleased that our dripping shower was finally corrected! The workers were very punctual, and worked quickly. We are satisfied.

We had a leak in our basement ceiling and called MAKO plumbing. They were able to send someone out the very next day. The plumber, Jayson, arrived on time and was very courteous and professional. He was able to open up the ceiling and diagnose the problem very quickly. Our water line was punctured by a nail and Jayson repaired it by cutting out and replacing the damaged pipes. It is a very messy job so imagine our surprise when he left our basement so clean! Very rarely do you find someone who takes pride in their job and treats the homeowner's place with such respect. We are very pleased and will be using MAKO if we ever have any more problems.

Saturday morning I discovered a puddle on the floor in my basement around my heating system and noted a continuous leak coming from an area over my hot water heater. I presumed it was coming from a pipe and contacted a plumbing company recommended by a friend. Although, initially told that someone would respond over the weekend, the plumber did not arrive until after 6:00pm on Monday. After spending a brief amount of time checking out the area, he concluded that it was not a plumbing problem but probably something related to the roof or chimney. This did not make sense to me since the leak was continuous and it had not been raining and there was no snow remaining on the roof. The next day I checked Angie's List and was impressed by Mako's customer reviews so I contacted them. I spoke with Dawn; she was very professional and polite. I would like to mention at this point how refreshing it is to speak with a live person instead of an answering machine. Dawn listened to my problem and told me that she would call me back in 10 minutes. In less time than that, she contacted me and told me that a plumber would be at my residence within the hour. Right on time, Robert arrived at my home. Immediately I was impressed with his professionalism and confidence. He assured that he would find the problem and would address it. After approximately half and hour of checking pipes on several floors he located the problem: a worn area in my domestic hot water line. It was tricky ascertaining exactly from where the leak came. Robert, through a process of almost forensic-like steps, determined that there was a geyser-like spray, coming from the worn hot water line and spraying up onto the ceiling boards. Thus, it appeared as if the leak was coming from above the ceiling, rather than from a pipe. Robert promptly proceeded to fix the problem. He cut out the damaged pipe and replaced it. No more leak. Afterwards, Robert thoroughly cleaned up the work site. A real pro in every respect! From now on I will be calling Mako whenever I have plumbing issues. I have already wholeheartedly recommended them to my family and friends.

Checking Angie's List for a plumber Mako Plumbing and Heating was not only highly rated, but located very close to where I live. I called early in the morning, left a detailed message and was pleasantly surprised when my call was returned within the hour. An appointment was set up for the same morning, and a technically competent plumbing professional (Jayson) arrived on time, listened to what I told him, spent time looking under the sink and faucet, and then explained to meet what the problem areas were, what alternatives were available to fix the problem, and that if I wanted the work completed he would fix the leaks and replace the dishwasher connection as well as replace the faucet/spray attachment. Jayson completed the work timely, within the price estimate quoted, honored their Angie's List discount coupon, checked everything and volunteered to show me how to install a second water filter myself when it is received. I would definitely use and recommend Mako Plumbing & Heating again should the need arise.

What a great experience. I called around noon to make an appointment, hoping I might be able to get the toilet fixed for the weekend. They called me right back and had someone over within an hour. Jay was able to take a look, give me an estimate, and replace the valve and feed line very quickly, and gave me some pointers on what I might want to fix next. He was very nice, obviously very knowledgeable, and the work is very professional. We only need it operational for this weekend, but we'll probably replace the whole toilet at some point and we'll give them a call when we do. Thanks Jay and Mako

Called Mako and got an appointment for the date I wanted. The worker,Jay, arrived on time. He was polite and professional and maintained the area of work cleanly and covered areas that could catch the falling ceiling sheet rock. He.He was particularly respectful of the house. It was a difficult leak to locate. It was a double leak coming from the valve and coming from the the large nut on the radiator. The sheet rock and insulation was wet on the ceiling below it. Since the leak was not constant it hid its location. Jay was patient and waited for the leaking to start and was able to diagnose the problem . He explained what what he was doing each step of the way , and explained the fix ,and quoted the price. We requested that the repair be done immediately. The entire repair was completed in a timely manner. I was very happy with the repair and felt that this outfit was honest and will use Mako again.

It's nice to finally have found a plumbing company that is friendly and professional, especially since I just had an incident with another plumber that didn't show up or call when they said they were going to come. Upon sending a message on Angie's list requesting an appointment, I received a prompt call back from someone at Mako. Adonis was the plumber that was sent for the job and was very polite, friendly and professional. He installed the new faucet for me with no issue. Unfortunately, it turns out that the leak from the faucet is most likely due to old pipes behind the wall. He gave us some options to consider to fix the issue. I would highly recommend and use Mako for all my plumbing needs in the future.

This job went well. Mako responded immediately to my call and dispatched a plumber. Adonis was very pleasant, professional and easy to work with. The job could not be completed the same day because of a problem with one of the parts I purchased. However, Adonis agreed to come back the next business day and arrived on time as promised. The job was completed and my sink works great! I would definitely use this company again for any future plumping needs.

Tremendous amount of labor-intensive work. They worked long and hard and took no breaks to get the job done. They cleaned up splendidly.

My sewer pipe cracked and was leaking into my basement. I checked Angie's list and saw that Mako was highly recommended and they're nearby so figured why not. They came exactly when they said they would and completed the job. They were neat, courteous and professional.

I had no heat so this was a concern for Dawn who expedited my service call . She was a pleasure to talk to . The time frame was incredibly fast . Robert came and reviewed my heating system , the pressure was way to high . Gave me tips and sugestions about maintaining my boiler . Like making sure I had a chiminy cleaning that year which I did not so I will do so . The thermostat he changed within minutes and the heat was on . The upgrade was well worth it , it is so easy to use , the old relic was not so .

Excellent service. Were available day of call within hours, were able to order and pick up parts w/in hours and plumber, Jayson, was very professional, neat and cleaned up when done.

They were extremely responsive, he called us back right away and came to service us the next morning to help us out. Fixed everything and it was fine, including the price. I have nothing but good things to say about them and I would recommend them to anyone.

Adonis and Mako were great. He came, looked at our issues, educated us about the problems and the steps for resolution. Didn't push unnecessary repairs. Felt very comfortable and confident in their work. Stayed to make sure everything was in working condition after repairs completed. Very happy with work done.
