Richard and his people were incredibly helpful and accommodating. After spending a good deal of time on the phone with me to assess the situation at my 87 year old mother-in-laws home, Richard was able to get his people to her house within 2 hours of calling, during the most intense freeze we have had in many, many years. They were successful in thawing the freeze, gave my mother-in-law and her care taker good follow up advice, and then Richard called me to let me know what had been done. I could not be more please or appreciative.

They are excellent. They were recommended by a neighbor and just were excellent. They were exceptionally polite. The office was responsive. I did not get a recording.

As usual, Mako answered the phone and dispatched Jay within 2 hours. He cleared the drain and we were good to go. We've used Mako for years, after trying other plumbers. They always answer the phone and are quick to send competent repairmen. Their price is always fair and about what I expected. In the past, they have installed a new gas hot water heater, repaired pipe leaks, opened drains and replaced kitchen faucets. They are clean while working, and clean up before leaving.

Jay was very professional, put cloth on the floor and over my work bench to catch any debri. He checked everything before leaving. I was very satisfied. We have used them before and they remain professional every time.

We had used Mako before and were pleased with their work however they are expensive, they charge $125 just to make a house call even if you don't eventually use them, but if you do use the they apply the $125 to the bill. This last time we used Mako, my wife tried to call me to approve an estimate of $445 to install a bathroom faucet and drain cover that I had purchased, but couldn't reach me so she let the man start the work. When she finally got a hold of me, I a few choice words with the plumber telling him that the price was outrageous, at which point he gave the phone back to my wife. I tried to apologize for my poor choice of words but the plumber would not take the phone. After he finished the work and was in his truck packing up my wife ran the water and used the drain plug to check the equipment he installed and water started gushing out under the cabinet, she called him back and in to fix it. He said the clip that holds the water hose in didn't click into place, but isn't that what I paid him a lot of money for? Its a good thing she check to see of the faucet worked properly. She also said the water pressure was very low and he said that was due to the kind of faucet I purchased and that was the best he could do. When I came home and look at the job, the water pressure was very low and after reading the installation directions I tried to adjust it myself but realized that the plumber also took the specialized wrench that was supplied with faucet kit that I purchased. I would never use them again or recommended them to anyone, as I had done so before.

Rich was friendly, courteous, and completed the job in the time allotted. He also took extra time to explain what he was doing and to look at our plumbing and boiler and made suggestions for future work, which we appreciated. Mako is definitely the way to go if you have any kind of plumbing needs. The price was also reasonable.

It went very well. Jay showed up on time, investigated the problem (which was not easy since it was concealed in a wall, behind the dishwasher), determined the cause, fully explained what needed to be done and the cost, and then set about doing the job. When completed, he walked me thru everything he did and left the work space as clean as he found it.

I had a new bathroom installed by a contractor 3 years ago with a high priced wall vanity and faucet. With no warning what so ever, the entire spout on the faucet loosened and when turned on, the water came gushing out from all ends. I panicked. At this point I became totally concerned that a simple replacement of the faucet might turn into a nightmare because of the type of vanity and sink I had and that getting to the plumbing under the sink for the replacement might pose a problem. I did not want to call the contractor back because I wasn't too pleased with their work to start with. I needed to find someone with experience with these issues . I contacted Mako based on all the positive reviews. Jay came right away..assessed the situation and assured me that he could do the job without issues. He even went so far as to speak with the company that made the faucet where we found out there was indeed a defect and that they would send a replacement free of charge. I was elated. Once the new faucet arrived, Jay returned to do the job. He had the job done in no time. He is knowledgeable, polite, efficient, clean and neat. You would never know anyone had done work in the bathroom after he left. Jay is a pleasure to do business with and I would not hesitate to call him again if needed. The entire company seems to care and goes above and beyond to help out in any way they can. Nancy was also an angel. She helped from the start and made dealing with the company effortless. It was well worth the price to have peace of mind.

Jay, Donny, Ted and Rich all worked so hard to snake out the line and ground roots. They were amazing hard working people and I enjoyed interacting with them!

It went well. They had to cut a piece of galvanized pipe from inside the house. They had to remove the dishwasher to expose the pipe. The house is on a slab.

Everything went well. Adonis was very knowledgeable. He arrived on time for the estimate and returned on time with the crew to do the work. A family member was on site when the work was done and they said the crew was very careful and worked as clean and quietly as they could. As I had to deal long distance with company it was important that the office contact was very good as well, and she was. The price may have been a bit over what we planned but I am sure they used the appropriate appliances for the demands of the project. We plan on using Mako for all our plumbing needs in the future.

Jay from Mako came to my house on time. He assessed the issue and fixed the problem with my kitchen faucet. As I could not be home for the repair, Jay sent me a picture of the problem that needed repair. Then he sent another picture after the repair was completed. I've been a home owner for almost 25 years and its rare to find a plumber to trust and respect. Jay is that plumber. The Mako office is great too. I don't know of any names in the office, but the communication was clear and concise. Mako does what they say they will do, when they say they will do it. I really can't ask for anything more.

Everything went well. The plumber came right away. He was professional and knowledgeable . He also cleaned up after himself.

Great. They arrived on time, placed drop cloths to keep the excavated dirt off everything else in the basement and bathroom, fixed the sink, replaced the pipe and snaked the sewer line when they found it was clogged with roots. They backfilled the trench, cleaned up and left everything as neat as possible after such a job. They were polite, knowledgeable and quiet- a pleasure to have in the house.
