Jay is clear and does not pressure you to make decisions one way on the other. We appreciate the lengths he went to in order to save us some money while still ensuring we are in good shape in at kitchen. Plumbers are expensive, but make is definitely competitive. They are also very responsive in an emergency & take great care entering & working in your home, highly recommend.

After I called, I was told some one would be here within the hour. Joy showed up in that hour, and was very informative on what needed to be replaced, are the cost. He was friendly and answered any questions I had.

Ricky was extremely thorough during the whole job. Ted also did an excellent job. Ricky demonstrated a great deal of professionalism. Great job.

Rob showed up right on time (to the minute) and was professional, courteous, and easy-to-understand from the second he walked in the door to the second he handed me the bill. He pointed out other things we hadn't considered without pressuring us to have them done and made helpful recommendations. He answered our questions on the more complicated items surrounding our gas fireplace and made the task of plugging the outside line as simple as possible (i.e., no drama). We will absolutely use Mako again (and will request Rob).

Wonderful jay arrived promptly/ actually early by a few minutes, was very professional, polite and neat. He repaired our plumbing issues quickly and we are very happy with Mako.

We first found the leak when the floor in the basement was wet. It was slow at the start but started to increase as the day went by. I called my regular plumber but since is was saturday they were closed. Looking on angies list on sunday I found Mako had emergency service. I called and Mako could not come until monday as there help were on calls but would be there first thing.Jay came on time and spent the day fixing the problem. We were happy with his work.

Smooth as usual, called David at the office. Got an appoint immediately. Jay showed up at my door right on time. He improved the faucet discussed the price options once asked he got right to work finished quick & neat.

On time, work done to satisfaction. Price was a bit higher than we expected.

Jay was professional ! explained everything that had to be done before he did it.

Mako was great. This was an emergency and they were able to do it all in one day. Very neat and made sure everything worked before they left. This was was for my 93 year old mother in law. Would highly recommend them.

The hose spigot on the exterior of my home was leaking. Jay arrived during the planned time window, quickly diagnosed the cause of the leak and then described the problem to me in detail and how he planned to fix it. He was very courteous and took the time to educate me on some of the plumbing infrastructure in my home. He then performed the repair and the leak no longer exists. The cost of the service seemed fair to me. I would recommend this company to others.

Jay, the plumber Mako sent, did an excellent job repairing a leak from a bathtub drainpipe, which was coming through the kitchen ceiling. He arrived exactly on time, was extremely neat and careful (this is the first time I can say that about a contractor doing a major, messy job), finished up in a couple of hours (despite running into the kinds of problems that arise with old plumbing), and cleaned up the area. Jay was totally professional, explained everything he was doing, took a picture of the cracked connection with his cell phone and showed it to me before proceeding with the work; and when his first approach to the problem didn't work, he explained why and showed me what he would do instead. Maybe not everyone would want to hear all the details of a plumbing repair, but I did; so I appreciated that he took the time to explain without my asking him to. Was it a fair price? I don't know. It was affordable, and you could say a professionally done job is priceless. (Two weeks before, I had had a bad experience with a tree trimming crew who were thoroughly unprofessional; so it was a relief to deal with a responsible person this time.) I will definitely use Mako again if I need plumbing work.

Jay & Ted were very professional, explained everything from start to finish. Took care of my rug. Made sure everything was good.

It was a weekend call so it was considered emergency-no problem with that. When they installed the new faucet in my shower, the pressure, which was what I loved about my shower was cut in half, when brought to the techs attention, he said sorry, I should have installed a different faucet, oh well nothing I can do about it now, sorry. I now hate taking showers in that bathroom. Sorry he said, nothing I can do about it now. I thought it was important that I mention that again. They' still missing the point in their response that none of this was brought to my attention BEFORE the installation. As of 2/9/16 still not resolved. When I wrote this review Mako responded with a lot of nice words however, I called after the new year, left a message to fix this issue as they stated in their response to my review that they were going to do and have never received a response. It's become oblivious that they have no plans of trying to fix this problem.

Everything went very well, from the arrival time, to Rob giving specifics about my issues, making suggestions and making the repairs. I felt very confident in the work he and his partner were doing. They worked quickly and were very neat with their clean up and removal of the old heater. I plan on using Mako's services again in the near future, once we start work on renovating the entire kitchen.

Bob the technician came before the time of the appointment, and waited patiently for me to get my son off to school. He quickly fixed the pipe and went above and beyond the job. Very friendly and profession,I would recommend them and also use them again. Bob even gave me some advise on training my dog, nice guy.

The service was AMAZING! The technician went above and beyond. Not only did he address the issue at hand, but educated us on how to avoid future problems. I would definitely recommend them in the future.
