Jay arrived on time and worked through numerous issues and assessed work to be done. All work was done better than expected and Jay kept it all very clean. He was very informative for future work as well!

At first glance it was just a leak at the toilet but upon further inspection it turned out the lead pipe underneath the toilet was leaking. They were through in their approach to the problem. and it was fixed completely. I had other companies look at the problem and just work on the toilet and not check any other possibilities. I will use them again.

Foremost this is my second (and third) time using Mako. I want to identity them as a group of serious, hard working, personable master plumbers. I will never need look for a new group because Mako is professional, informative and direct when it comes communicating what needs to get done and how much it will cost. On that note, I see that Mako has a "B" rating for their price rating: my father had a saying which was something like "buy it right once, or buy it twice." Mako puts the time and effort in to make all of my experiences with them understand why they cost a little more than most: they're pro's, they do exceptional work, and they stand firmly by it. Might you find a cheaper quote? Possibly. But it wont be done to what I'm coining as "the Mako gold standard." 1) For job one, the install of the new thermostatic valve, re-plumb and various fixes: overall this has increased our water pressure throughout the home, as well as having what feels like an infinite supply of hot water. Absolutely amazing. Rick was my plumber for this job and he thoroughly explained the job and even invited me to view the project as it was on going. 2) For job two, the retro fit of two kick-space heaters: amazingly done job and outcome. I would not believe the new heaters hadn't been there the whole time (i.e., they left no signs the heaters were done after construction). Our large split which was inadequately heated, now warms with the rest of the house - which for a large opened space is amazing. The heaters themselves are small and quiet, and we have the ability to control how much heat they output which is a neat pseudo-zoning feature if ever we felt the need to reconfigure them. Ricky was also the lead master plumber on this job and, again, did an amazing job and explained fascinating hydrodynamic concepts and how he would use them to get heat to where we needed it most. Dawn, the fabulous woman behind the phone when you call, has and remains professional and delightful through every call. Mako is an A+ team and I would invite them all over for dinner, they're just awesome professional and people all round. If you need a group of plumbers to rely on to get your job done, and get it done right look no further.

It went well. I was given a 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. window and Jay showed up for the appointment a little past 8 a.m. As with my prior experiences with Mako plumbing, he was knowledgeable, professional, and willingly answered all my questions. There was an additional repair discussed and made that morning for which the add-on price seemed reasonable. Also, the ease with which the appointment was scheduled with the office was again seamless I have used Mako plumbing a number of times and each time I have been happy with the rendered services. I , have in the past both used a national franchise and a plumber also local to Lynbrook. Mako has proven to be, in my opinion, vastly superior to both. I would not hesitate, if needed, to use them again.

First let me begin by saying that Mako never did any work at my house or business. I see that there are reviews on here from people in the same boat, so I felt I should join the crew. The others reviews are all negative. Mine is not. If I ever need a plumber this is who I would call. I called them on Tuesday and they returned my call the next day. I wanted to have an automatic water feed put on my boiler so that I didn't have to do it manually any more. Normally, they would come to the house to look the job over and charge a fee for that service. But when I spoke to Ricky, he talked me out of getting the water feed, saying that it's really not the best thing for a boiler. Who, in this day and age, talks a person out of spending money. NO-ONE !! This is just good business. Hats off to you guys, take a bow !!!!...and thanks again !! :)

Jay & Ted quickly evaluated the problem and set to work, repaired the toilet quickly and efficiently.

It went great! The tub installed was 3 inches too big, and it was going to leave the toilet flushed with it, Rob took the time to drill a new hole for the toilet so he can move it over. He also helped me to finish putting together a vanity sink so he would know exactly where to run the water pipes to. I would definitely use them again.

Mako Plumbing was terrific throughout the project. Relationship started in February 2015 when they resolved frozen pipes for our mother, relationship continued because how they helped us. We were more than glad to give them our business. Highly recommend them.

We have been using Mako since we first encountered a few plumbing issues after moving into our new home in May. Jay from Mako has been back to our house a half-dozen times since for minor issues as we grapple with poor water quality in Malverne and other new-homeowner issues. Mako is courteous, prompt, and above-aboard in all our their dealing with us, and we've developed a strong relationship with them, to the extent that we trust Jay in our home when we're not around (he lets himself out and locks up). It isn't just Jay, either -- the company has gone out of its way to assist us with our water issues. We recommend them without reservation.

Jay arrived early & diagnosed the problems very quickly. He gave me a good estimate & began the work promptly. He made sure I understood everything as he performed the work.

Was on time, very professional. Answered all my questions with the replacement.

Rick and Rob were wonderful. Educated us on the problem and addreeed all of our concerns. Rick is a walth of knowledge that will help s with maintaining our sewage system. Professional. We wer grateful that he would come out on short notice and complete the work.

Jay came only an hour after I called Maco and extended his day to do it. He was excellent and exceedingly friendly and neat. We are very pleased. Jay also showed us how to prevent a recurrence and fix it ourselves

Nothing, they claim to work in the "Nassau County" area but say on the phone they won't work in Great Neck. Please update search component to reflect this it is annoying.

Called Mako and requested them to send Jayson who had previously done work at my house. Jay showed up on time as usual, and removed my old toilet, then installed my new toilet which I supplied. He had given me a price back in May for the toilet installation and I also asked him to change the old outdoor water shut off valve with a new more modern one in it's place. As usual Jay was totally competent, professional and made no mess at all. I am very happy with the work as usual. I will be using Mako any time I have a plumbing problem. They do excellent work for a reasonable price.

It went very well. They were fast and efficient and very knowledgeable. They also left everything very clean.

Approximately 4:45 p.m. - 07/14/15 Me- Good afternoon, I am interested in moving my washer and dryer from the kitchen into the backroom. Accordingly, I will need to have the gas and water lines (the lines) moved. The washer and dryer or located on the first floor and the lines run underneath the house and are accessible by a crawl space. Could you please provide an estimate? Thanks, James.
