+ -1 moreIt went great. He took out the old windows and framing and replaced them with new basement windows. I was amazed that he didn’t cause damage when he removed the old windows. There were no additional problems or costs. John Clifford is the owner and his experience is readily observable. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to family members and friends!!!!
Description of Work: Our basement windows were 50 years old and provided no insulation to the outside temperature.

Description of Work: John was very helpful and knowledgable and was able to correct and complete a previous contractor (not from Angie's) did not know how nor had the skills to do - properly replacing an outside door and two picture windows. John and his crew were honest, thorough, quick and clean. He came in at his estimate for cost and completed the job ahead of schedule. I highly recommend Clifford's and will use him in the future.

+ -1 moreI spent about $3300. It turned out beautifully, they're very prompt and clean and it looks very nice. It was done in about 4 hours. He had his assistants work with him and I've used them before for smaller windows. The work quality and the speed stood out to me.
Description of Work: I used Clifford's Windows & Doors to take out 6 large twin windows around the porch and replace them.

He did a fabulous job on all the work he did for us and even went out of his way to help me figure out issues with other windows in our house that were rather drafty even though they were not installed by him and he had no obligation to do anything with them. When the time comes to replace those other windows that are drafty and to replace our front door, we will definitely be giving John a call.
Description of Work: Replaced windows in living room, dining room, basement and attic. Installed custom covers for attic crawl space installed door on attic closet. Installed storm door.

+ -1 moreMr. Clifford made the fix in about 5 minutes, checked to make sure both panes in the window were secure, locked the window, and then checked (and ultimately fixed) the other window in the room. He wouldn't take a dime from me, and I was pretty persistent. I would highly recommend Clifford's Windows and Doors, and when I'm ready to order a new window or door, this company is the only company I will call.
Description of Work: John Clifford came on an emergency call on a bitter cold, windy day to reposition the top of a double-hung window that had come off the track.

+ -1 moreJohn Clifford did a great job. He replaced approximately 12 windows, a sliding glass door and installed a new full view storm door. He did the job on time and for the price he quoted me. Neat, honest and reliable. Will definitely be using him again and would highly recommend.

In terms of quality of product and service, we couldn't have been more satisfied with his He is reliable and responsive to the client's needs. His price was fair; the job was begun and completed on time, as promised; the house was left cleaned of all debris; and, all windows and doors were installed expertly. John is a pro who takes real pride in his work and it shows. A better job could not be had!
Description of Work: We hired Clifford's Windows and Doors to replace the original windows and doors in our 1939 tudor home. The job included 13 double hung windows; 8 basement casement windows; a three-panel picture window; and two storm doors, one of which required a custom fit for a full glass door and a rounded top arch. All windows and doors were ordered with accompanying screens.
