Arrow Exterminating

Description of Work: I called Arrow because I was sure the bites and welts on my body were from bedbugs, from searching pictures on the internet. I was informed a representative would be there the next day with a bedbug-sniffing dog, at a cost of $200. The rep arrived timely and came into the house first to inspect. After I described the 2-3 welts I was finding on my body in the morning for a month, he said that if it were bedbugs for that long, there would be thousands of them by now. He looked around and didn't see any evidence of bedbugs, but did find carpet beetles on all 3 floors of the house. He described how the larva of carpet beetles have hairs which irritate the skin and can cause the welts, which can resemble bedbug bites. Once he described the larva I recall seeing one on my bed twice in the past 2 weeks, looks like a small brown segmented worm. He quoted a price to treat the whole house and I opted not to do it since I plan to sell the house this summer. I can live with the occasional welt, what a relief to know I don't have bedbugs! He did not charge me for the visit! He didn't bring the dog in either. He could easily have scammed me and made the dog walk around the house and get a quick $200, or even worse could have said I was infested with bedbugs and needed the full house treatment. I was very impressed with the honesty and would not hesitate to use Arrow in the future in a situation where I needed extermination services, and I will recommend them to others as well.

Description of Work: We had experienced some type of pest bites during the night on a couple of occasions. Naturally, we thought we had bed bugs. We called Arrow and their representative and Polly (the dog) were great. He did his inspection, honored the coupon from Angie's List and told us he (meaning Polly didn't detect any evidence of bed bugs. He then took me out to his car where he had specimens of bed bugs so if I did see any I would know what to look for. He also told me to call him if we got any more bites. Three days ago I got bitten, but I didn't call. If my wife or I gets bitten again I will call him again and he will inspect again at no charge. He was very professional and explained much about bedbugs and other pests.

Description of Work: There were termites in my mothers house and they took care of it for me.

Description of Work: A representative came and surveyed home for termites. Two men installed a termite monitoring and bait system. Thus far they have been here twice, once to install the system and once to monitor. When they came to monitor the system they added a bait trap to a basement location which was the only spot they found activity. I felt they were proactive in attending to our problem. They will be coming monthly to continue monitoring the system. They do not come in January and February because i believe termites are dormant at that time. As far as price goes they were among the more expensive. When i showed a competitors price quote, while still costing more than the competitor the field representative reduced the price by 20%. His new price was in close proximity to our other estimates.

Description of Work: What a pleasure! He came promptly, inspected our house for termites looking carefully at the areas we were concerned about, and then told us we had no termites. There was no charge for the visit. We so appreciated his honesty!

Description of Work: Arrow Exterminating come to spray for carpenter ants and termite inspection once a month or so. We had termite problem, but they took care of it. We also had carpenter ants and they took care of that too. It is an ongoing maintenance to prevent any more problems.
