Arrow Exterminating

Somewhere, these pesky bugs were entering the house and causing mayhem. We called Arrow Exterminating, as we had used their very competent services a few years ago. The technician came promptly and was courteous, efficient, and very effective. After the technician found and treated the area through which the yellow jackets were entering the house, he eliminated the problem...thoroughly. Not only did Arrow Exterminating send the technician when promised (which was almost immediately), but they followed up by calling weeks later to ensure that "all was well." Very rarely do companies follow-up their work to ensure that a customer is satisfied. By being so conscientious, Arrow Exterminating has continued to earn our trust to use them for all future exterminating needs. I highly recommend this company!

I can't say enough about how great Arrow was. Tom and Mariano were professional, courteous and went way beyond the call of duty in helping me get to the root of my problem. Tom was quick to arrive, incredibly thorough and very knowledgeable. He assessed the situation so quickly that we were able to address what could have turned into a very bad situation. I wholeheartedly recommend Arrow!

Arrow was able to send someone the following day. Adonay, the exterminator, quickly isolated the source of the problem. There were three holes around the eaves of the roofline where squirrels chewed through. Adonay was very knowdedgeable, informative, and personable. He explained every step of what he was going to do, and how I can eliminate the problem. He set up three traps. In about a couple of weeks, four squirrels were caught and taken away. Christian, the other exterminator, checked on the cages daily (except weekends when they were closed for business). In about three weeks, it was determined that there were no more squirrels entering/exiting the holes, and they sealed up the holes. Adonay and Christian are professional and well-trained. Also, Arrow gave a six-month warranty. It's about six weeks later now, and so far, no more squirrels. I'd use Arrow again.

They arrived on time and were polite, but thats the only positive thing i can say about this experience. I asked them to perform an inspection, i was told the price is 185+tax. when they were done with the inspection the price had suddenly jumped to $195+tax! that's just wrong. I payed for an inspection and wanted to to know their professional opinion on the following: 1) where were possible access points for animals so i could close them up, not just the one being used by the animal now, but any possible ones, so that i could close those,i got very vague answers, and they were very unhelpful. 2)they could not tell me for sure what animal was there, but even worse, they believed there were no animal there to begin with, and i hear them running around all the time. i even heard them during the inspection while the exterminators were in other rooms in the house. if you are a professional and i pay a about $200 for less the two hours of work which required zero materials,and requires only one person(even though there were two for some reason) and all you can't tell me anything....well... that's a waste of my money and my time. 3)the price is insane, being an exterminator doesn't require extensive schooling and no Special and expensive equipment either, and yet i was charged about DOUBLE the amount a LICENSED electrician or plumber would charge for an inspection, and those professions require 6-7 years of schooling, and uses specialty and sometimes expensive equipment. I feel like i got ripped off, i had someone who was supposedly professional look around, and tell me nothing at all, and i then payed very handsomely for it too. I would absolutely NOT recommend this company!

We have scheduled to have them come on a bi-monthly treatment visit to keep the crickets and ants away. They have been excellent and if there is a problem in between visits they come out for free to take care of the problem. Their are extremely knowledge and have answered every question that we have had.

Arrow Exterminating did a very good job. They were very professional and answered all our questions. Whatever we needed, they were there. They came back every day to check the traps. They successfully got rid of our pests. They were top-notch. They were knowledgeable and very professional. They were a local company and I prefer to use local companies.

They?re absolutely wonderful! I stay with them over their competition because they?re incredibly punctual and courteous. I?ve never had them try to upsell me on anything and they?re very professional. I've never had a negative interaction with them all these years. Highly recommended!

Couldn't get past the receptionist to ask my question and she gave me a price 3 times the highest price I had. No thank you

I brought a sample of suspected bug to their Lynbrook office for them to analyze. They told me that the results would be ready in ONE WEEK. I went back to their office in a week and they said they weren't ready yet, called a few days later and again that said the results were not back. I have not heard back from them since. There was absolutely zero follow up to my problem from them : (

They checked my apartment for bedbugs. One person came with a canine. He was extremely friendly and explained everything he was doing. He examined the bed and sofa--most likely to exhibit signs of the pests, taking every layer off and carefully looking at the places they would hide. Luckily for me there were none. The dog came to the same conclusion. He demonstrated the dog's capabilities as well with a pest sample that he brings for this purpose.

Person on the phone was rude, services seemed pricey. Chose not to use them.

I had called because we had already trapped 7 camel crickets which were scarring my children. They told me the price in advance. I thought it was expensive but agreed to it after I asked them to find out how mice were getting into the house in addition to killing off the camel crickets. They arrived promptly and professional, were polite and even friendly to our energetic yellow lab. They spent a short time spraying, left me some sticky pads to catch any camel crickets that went astray, did point out that the crickets were probably coming in through a window in the basement that had been left open. I reminded him that I also wanted him to look how mice were getting in. This had been a problem for us for many years and was not due to the window being open as the window was open only for a short time. He walked outside and said he couldn't see anything. He said the plants were in the way. We have hostras and a few hydrangeas. Nothing that really blocks the view. I don't feel he tried very hard. I think for $460 he should spend more than 30 minutes in my house.

The tech. was very concerned and professional. He arrived promptly and performed the service in a little under an hour. He carefully explained what would be done. The problem appears to have been corrected. No more crickets in the house!

Representative did an examination of the area, inside and out of the house and applied pesticide. He dressed in a "bee suit"! The work is guaranteed for 3 months. The same day service was a very pleasant experience.

Same day service, prompt, professional, inspired confidence, technician and canine inspection for one reasonable price, which counts toward subsequent treatments should they be necessary. Worthy of its reputation.

My college age son, who lives in Manhattan and commutes back home to Long Beach for his part-time weekend job, has been battling a bedbug infestation in his apartment for several months. Some members of the family here in Long Beach had acquired multiple itchy bug bites over the past week and we thought some bed bugs had hitched a ride in from the city. I called Arrow, whom we had used years before to successfully combat an ant problem, and they sent their technician Philip and the wonderful Rat Terrier, Polly, to examine my house for evidence of bed bugs. Philip and Polly came only hours after I called. My family's home had been decimated by Hurricane Sandy; in addition we were just getting over the shock of shelling out a lot of money for major sewer repairs and quite honestly the thought of bed bugs put me over the emotional edge. But Philip was wonderful! Incredibly calming, knowledgeable, thorough, kind, and professional. And Polly was great. Philip explained that Polly scents out bedbugs the way one would smell a delicious stew upon entering a house where it was simmering on a stove. The best news of all is that neither Philip nor Polly found any evidence whatsoever of bed bugs. Some carpet beetles were detected in 2 mattresses but that was it. I commend Arrow, Philip, and Polly for a job well done. Philip also gave me pointers on how to help prevent my son from unknowingly transporting any stray bed bugs into our home. And Arrow gave me a reduced price because of the major problems we've experienced from Hurricane Sandy.

I called on a Sunday, left a message with an answering service and someone got back to me immediately. In contrast, I left messages for another company and never heard back. I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. The exterminator showed up right on time, was friendly and professional.

They came when they said they would. The entire team was professional, polite and very competent. They were very through and careful not to damage any furnishings. We have attendants coming in each day to attend my sick mother and my son is a fireman who sleeps overnight in various firehouses in the city. For these reasons, and because we were so pleased with their service, we have engaged them to inspect and spray monthly for the past year. We are not happy that we had this problem, but we were very happy with their service. We highly recommend them.

He was very professional, he looked at the job, and luckily I did not have Carpenter ants. He did not charge me even though he drove all of the way and didn't try to sell me on anything.

They’re not always the cheapest but the do good work and they do show up. They also have a service plan in 6 month increments. If they do have to come out and do work, there is a 3 month backup plan for that treatment. They also stick very close to their estimate. They will also tell you if it is possible or not possible to do something. They’re local, too.

We had some roaches and were looking for a better elimation system than the sprays/bombs. They only offered these services. Had no issues - just needed something more.
