John was completely awesome! we had ourselves a handful after some major storm damage. John was great, very supportive. We had a very large tree fall on our roof, resulting in extensive damage. John came, gave a quote, and said to call him as soon as the tree people did their magic. After a day he called to check in, and when the tree people were slow to respond to us, he called directly and the tree people showed next morning. Then he told us to call as soon as they were done. Well at 9 pm when they finished, i called, expecting to hear an answering service. He picked up, and came out that night to tarp our roof to limit damage! who shows up that late and with little notice?? they were great. Quality of work was incredible, gave us various options, and worked with us every step of the way. We have a very old house, with some interesting structural nuances that he understood, and even came on his own time to explain to our insurance adjuster.

Jimmy came last year from a recommendation of a neighbor. He came to our home and advised us on what can be done, what is more easily maintained, and what may look nicer. He gave us choices, which my wife and I liked. We originally wanted to pave the newly constructed pool, but he advised against paving that early. It was almost a year since the pool was constructed, but he tested the ground outside and said its still not settled yet. He said he'll do it if we really want him to, but he said he guarantee's me that the bricks will shift and settle shift causing little pools to form, and he'll charge us $300 to fix it cause he would not guarantee the work in the current situation of the ground. We optioned to wait for the pool paving to wait another year. We then asked to pave the back patio which he was happy to do. He paved the patio in 2 weeks. He does the job himself along with one or two more people on his crew. He uses a very thick under-layer of concrete along with some re-bar to add strength to the patio, which is very rare, and made me quite happy. The year passes and we again called Jimmy to do our Pool patio, and he came over and told us the ground has settled quite a bit since he was last here. Some area's have sunk about three inches, so he gave us the right advice. He had already carved out a time for us to do the paving, and went right to work. It looks fantastic. He even repaired all the damage he did to our yard while he when he was working on our pool. He helped us grade our land after the paving was done. He brought in high quality topsoil, and reseeded the area. It looks better than it did before his bobcat tore up the land. His price was very reasonable, and his quality of work is excellent. He stands by his work and and would put his quality of work up against any high quality mason. The only down side is, he is usually booked up a few months in advance so you should make an appointment with him to have a discussion about the job you would like done

Jimmy was recommended to us by our roofer (highly rated on Angie's List) because our chimney needed repair. The weather was very uncooperative, and he called several times to reschedule in the hopes that it wouldn't rain. He arrived when promised and it again began to pour. He waited until the storm abated, then finished the job. When he completed his work, he took the leftover grout and, on his own initiative, fixed several cracks which had developed between the stones of our pool. He was friendly, helpful and courteous.
