+ -1 moreJohn Sideris is the master plumber. He doesn't actually do any of the work. The plumbers who work for him do all the work. They did a good job. My problem with him is that he's a very nice guy when he wants your money. After we paid him and his guys did the work, he was almost impossible to get a hold of. There were a few things that we needed to follow up on, including inspections, paperwork, etc. He lied to us saying that he had already filed certain papers with the city. When I went down to the DOB myself and asked, they showed me proof that nothing had been filed. Only after I took the proof from the DOB to his office to show them that they had lied, did they start to get things done. He's just very unprofessional after he gets your money. His own plumbers who work for him were constantly complaining about what a miser he is. I would not recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: Installed two new boilers in a 4-family house and installed a gas meter.

Description of Work: Contacted them for an estimate. They were on time and professional but on the expensive side. Their estimate included everything and then some, such as replacing thermostat even though it didn't need to be replaced and putting a box cover on an electrical outlet.

+ -1 moreI might have hired this company but they would not perform the job on an hourly basis or even give out an hourly rate. Having done the job myself, I think an experienced plumber could have done the job in 4 to 6 hours, a little more if a trip to a plumbing store was needed.
Description of Work: This was an estimate to remove the old piping to a radiator and install new supply and return from a new radiator location to the existing risers. The floor was already open and the radiator was to be located near the risers. I did not accept the estimate. Instead, I did the work myself but did hire another plumber to break the bond between the old pipes and the risers which involved carefully cutting out the old pipe without damaging the threads on the risers.

+ -1 moreTHEIR COMPANY IS EXPENSIVE BUT, IT IS WORTH THE MONEY NOT TO HAVE THE BAD PLUMBING. THEY ARRIVED TWO HOURS AFTER WE HAD CALLED THEM. THEY DO A VERY GOOD JOB. THEY NEVER MAKE A MESS.
Description of Work: THEY MADE SOME MINOR REPAIRS TO OUR PIPES.
