+ -1 moreI looked for a company that I wanted to work with. I decided on Astudillo. I asked for a general quote for the armchair and ottoman I then gave her the dimensions of the armchair and the ottoman. She emailed me the quote. I decided to add the custom down blend pillows to the order. I agreed to the price and set-up a time for pick-up. For the pick-up they were punctual and courteous. They required 50% deposit at the time of pick-up, and the rest at delivery. There was a fee for the pick-up and delivery. The job took about 3 plus weeks; a little longer then was quoted.
Description of Work: I picked Astudillo, because I liked what I saw on their web page and they had their workshop in the Bronx. They are a small family run company. I supplied the different fabrics for each component. I had an armchair that was approximately 50 years old re-upholstery, an ottoman resigned and custom pillows. I explained what I was looking for in the re-upholstery job. They explained what they could do and how it would look to me after the project. They told me the job would take a while, because of the custom seat cushions and pillows. They were very responsive, and their prices were reasonable. The project was a great success, and my family loved what was done to the pieces. They are now doing my cane dinning-room chairs for me.
