The paint job Tom was entirely unprofessional, messy, and lazy. He did not remove any hardware and uses no blue tape and paints on top of everything. He left on electric plate covers for the paint job and attempts to paint around them (you can see brush strokes around the covers) and paints them. When I told him I was unhappy, his claim was that this is standard on all his jobs and that he never removed covers and has never used blue tape. He caused an incredible amount of damage to my entire home by spilling and splatting paint everywhere on all door hinges, my floors, wooden trim, and kitchen cabinets! He washed his paintbrushes in my kitchen sink permanently staining the sink with paint. When confronted he said that my sink was old and he thought I would replace it. That is for me to decide not him. As a contractor, he should be leaving the home the way he found it. He claimed that he would be able to take off all the paint, but ended up causing more damage in the process by scratching my wooden window frame to get off the paint and left a lot of it throughout my house. His paint job is incredibly amateur. His paint job is uneven with splats throughout and visible brush strokes. He blamed my old walls and has an excuse for everything. He will ruin your property and cause damage and not do any job correctly. He is lazy and messy. His drywall is amateur as he does not use enough coats over tap. Just terrible. He may claim to be a Christian that will do the job right, but that is all a lie. I can guarantee you that he is not competent.

Tom was great showed up on time. Tom did great work on the job we had done. I would Highly recommend marotta home improvement. We will Definitely have Tom back to do more work.

Quality work and reasonable prices.

I met Tom during post Hurricane Sandy. I had a contractor previously and it wasn't a good experience. Tom has been wonderful, he is reasonably prices, very reliable, does great work and is the only contractor I will deal with that I will not get an estimate before his work. He is very reasonable!
