This is the 2nd job for which I have hired Jim Morisco. I was not disappointed either time. He renovated both my powder room and master bathroom. He collaborates with you to to discuss your thoughts, ideas and plans. He lets you know potential issues and helps to plan around them. He is meticulous in the work and oversees every step. Details matter as much to him as they do to me! I trust him implicitly and he has my keys and garage codes. Jim treats my house as though it were his. The pictures below show my just completed bathroom. It exceeded all my expectations. I am already discussing a basement and kitchen reno with Jim. I would not hire anyone else,

We recently hired J. Morisco Contracting (Total Access) for a kitchen renovation. The work included demolition of the old kitchen and installation of a complete new kitchen (which included cabinets, countertops (granite), tile work, flooring, plumbing, electrical and appliances. We also wanted a built in pantry and desk top area in a limited space. His design experience and overall knowledge helped us accomplish all we wanted. Jim's attention to details and material choices put this kitchen together beautifully. The work was professional at every phase of the project; the job site was left clean after every days work and debris was removed. We wanted the project done right and it was . We had Jim do our kitchen as he has done work previously in our home over the years and with every project he has done a fantastic job so we knew that this would be done in the same professional manner. We are so pleased with the finished results and would highly recommend J.Morisco Contracting for any aspect of home improvement.

Jim did a professional job with both the extension of the kitchen area and the complete demo and rebuilding of the 40+ year old kitchen. During all this work, he spent time to ensure that everything was straight and level, even though the house wasn't. He is a careful professional and did not rush to complete something if it did not seem correct. He worked with the kitchen cabinet and floor supplier and was present to monitor any work that he did not personally perform. He also offered options and considered any requests that I made, his price was reasonable, and he kept me informed as to what the schedule was. I recommend Jim as an excellent contractor.

Great! Jim, the owner of the company, was very diligent, patient, and persistent in dealing with the bureaucratic setbacks in obtaining the needed permits to do the job. He worked very well with my architect to ensure that it was done correctly, and even assisted in giving the final push needed to have my permit application approved prior to commencing work. His workers did a great job in cleaning up afterwards, and took all the necessary steps to make sure that my tenant's needs and concerns were addressed. Jim personally assisted in the necessary aftercare, in terms of ensuring that the area around the construction site had sufficient soil added following the settling of soil around the site. He was great about answering questions, and was very responsive throughout the process.

We got three quotes and we chose Jim not only because his price was the best, but because he took the time to really understand what we wanted and to give us different options. They completed the work ahead of schedule and it turned out even better than we had hoped. We've already hired them for other projects. We highly recommend him!

Jim was extremely professional. Jim managed the renovation beautifully, he takes pride in his work and has high standards for his sub-contractors. Jim was a pleasure to work with. I was referred to him by a former customer of his and I would also recommend him highly after my experience.

Wonderful, we are very happy with the results. Working with Jim was a professional and easy experience. He does excellent quality work and gave us a competitive price. We received a written work and payment schedule, which we kept to. He was flexible with modifications and went the extra mile to satisfy us. It was a pleasure working with him. We would highly recommend and use again.

We had Jim out to give us a general quote on some projects we needed done, including a bathroom remodel, kitchen remodel, and a bathroom addition. Jim did not respond to repeated calls and attempts to contact him to receive a quote. Again, this was after we had him out to look at the house. Sadly, this ended up being a waste of our time.

The service was very professional. They were on time. They responded to all emails and calls. I would HIGHLY recommend this company.

Jim arrived at the appointed time to remove an existing oak door and frame and install a fiberglass entry door. There were complications with the existing door and brick mold and I wish I had the expertise to explain it properly, but Jim was able to work around the peculiarities and remove the door without causing any damage to the walls. The cut-out for the door was also odd, but Jim installed the new door perfectly. He also built a new, oak step leading into the house. The job took two days and Jim arrived early both days and worked tirelessly until the job was done to his satisfaction (and mine). This past winter was extremely cold and I am thrilled to say that my beautiful door is DRAFT-FREE!! Thanks, Jim! You truly are a professional who takes great pride in your skill. Best wishes to you!

A number of years ago, I used Jim to install handicap grab bars in a bathroom & new towel bars in another bath. His works was impeccable, even my late husband was impressed since drilling into existing tile can cause problems, and my husband was a perfectionist. When I decided to sell my house, Jim came to see the little projects I needed done. As we did a walk thru, Jim noticed things that had to be done for a home inspection and I was extremely grateful. I did not want to have to attend to items at the last minute. Jim showed up when he told me he would come, did meticulous work, cleaned-up and is extremely detailed in his work (he notices things no one else did). I only wish he would travel since it's going to be very difficult to find such an excellent contractor.

I received a response two days later through Angie's message from this contractor that he would call me after the Memorial Day weekend. As of the writing of this, June 15th, I have not heard a word from him. I don't care how great his work is. In my experience someone who does not even take the time to honor their own word is no award winner.

Jim's craftmanship is top-notch and his attention to detail is outstanding! He was punctual and professional and I would definitely hire him in the future.

Due to my personal circumstance, I am unable use this deal at this time, but I will in the future. He was very understanding and nice. He called immediately, very prompt, and very thorough in what the job would entail.

This was a thinking project. Jim had to figure out how to remove prior contractor's sloppy and inadequate job by removing pieces of trim inside and outside without jeopardizing the large sheet of glass. Not a job that most would take on. Jim did an incredible job. He figured it out, and executed the job in an extremly smart and meticulous manner. His workmanship is impeccable. I plan to hire Jim for future projects and would highly recommend him.

I was dreading this renovation but thanks to Jim it went much smoother than expected. Jim worked with us and with the exception of just 1 day, I was able to cook meals in the kitchen throughout the 2 month renovation. Jim is a perfectionist and takes great pride in his work. He uses quality materials and does not skimp or take short cuts. He is innovative in solving problems and had many good ideas and suggestions. He was meticulous in cleaning up each day and kept the work area tidy. I am extremely happy with Jim's work and without doubt would use him again.

Went very well. He called back when promised and kept appointment on time. Installer is the owner/vender and takes pride in his work. The work came out very well.

After buying a 100 year old farmhouse, that looked as though it hadn't been maintained for the last 25 years, the search was on for a contractor to do a complete renovation. After interviewing many local contractors and ultimately hiring one to do the roof and siding, I realized that I would have to expand my search if I was going to find someone up to my standards, to replace the windows and completely renovate the interior. Since my timeline wasn't critical, someone highly recommended and suggested I contact Jim Morisco of J Morisco Contracting Corp Inc to see if he would be willing to travel and do the renovations in blocks of time, as his schedule would allow. Lucky for me, when I first contacted Jim, he had just completed one job and was waiting on materials for his next job. We met at the farmhouse to discuss in detail what I wanted done, as well as pricing. We prepared a priority list of how the renovations would go, starting with the first floor bedroom, bath, and laundry, and eventually ending with the kitchen. The goal was to complete the renovations in fewer than two years, while working on a part time basis. Being a perfectionist, unless it was absolutely necessary to have help, I only wanted Jim doing the work, since it was obvious he was also a perfectionist. He did have help on occasions, but they too met his high standards. To accurately describe the end results of this renovation would be hard to do without it sounding much exaggerated, so luckily this site allows the inclusion of photos. I took numerous photos of the renovations from beginning to end and will hopefully be able to attach at least three collages I created, one of the kitchen, one of the master bath, and one of the bath/laundry. Those images will easily speak for themselves. In addition to those renovations, Jim installed 44 new construction windows complete with all new interior moldings, renovated an office, three bedrooms, two tin ceilings, a staircase using the original handrail, and the front porch. He also did structural work in the basement and attic. I could not be happier with the level of professionalism, pleasant demeanor, and the extremely high quality of work performed. I doubt I will ever be doing another total renovation, but if I do, or any part thereof, I will be sure to be calling Jim back to see if he is available!

Jim saved our master bath. A prior contractor never finished and it's just as well because the floor had to be ripped up. Jim showed me the old, remnant subflooring that was under my tile, which was why my new tile floor was cracking not long after it was installed. So again, it's just as well that he didn't install all the bath cabinetry since it there's a good chance they would have been damaged ripping it out. Jim did a first-class job. An elephant could stand on that floor now (if it was skinny enough to get in the door). Lots of times things seem perfect when they're done but you later find out someone did a lousy job and it just looked nice on the outside. So this is looking at this job a couple of years later, and it's as solid and perfect as the day it was finished. Since this first job, I've had Jim do several other things around our home, from painting our basement to installing exterior doors other smaller jobs like wall-mounting TVs (and getting the electricity up there so it looks perfect on the wall). He perfectly matchedthe wood stain of our kitchen cabinets when we had an empty space above our refrigerator, after our built-in fridge died and we replaced it with cabinet-depth (1 foot shorter). Looks like the kitchen was done that way from day one. I never have to worry about the surprise what's behind the paint or inside the wall with Jim. An honest guy who does solid work that will last as long as you want it to be there.

Jim is terrific. He's dependable, trustworthy, reasonably-priced, professional, down-to-earth, responsive, thoughftul, creative, skilled, and experienced. He's a master of his craft and there's nothing he doesn't know how to do -- if he doesn't know, he'll tell you. No cutting corners. He's very precise and detail-oriented, and walks thru everything with you, every step of the way. No wasting time -- when he's at your home, he's working non-stop; he gets a lot done. When you hire Jim, you get Jim -- not a bunch of guys who'll jump off the truck, get through the job and you'll never see them again. Jim has a very small team of guys he works with, and he's at the job for almost every minute until it's complete. So if you're looking for a speedy renovation with lofs of guys filing in and out of your home, Jim's probably not your guy. But if you're looking for a steady, dependable, experienced hand who'll do the job right, be honest with you every step of the way, does what he says, and charges you reasonable prices, Jim is top-rate and a great choice.

Jim is an excellent carpetener and takes his time to do the job right. He asked me questions prior to and during each project to ensure I was getting exactly what I wanted. Jim has met and exceeded my expectations every time. He has a rare pay attention to detail work ethic which is hard to find these days. I highly recommend Jim and plan to use him more in the future.

After taking measurements new stairs were ordered. A few days after they were delivered to my house, Mr Morisco and an assistant arrived on time about nine am and finished installation around five pm. The stairs were installed exactly as we had previously agreed upon to my complete satisfaction and a thorough cleanup was performed.

Everything went well. There were no problems. I've used him before.
