Description of Work: Trees trimmed and tree removal

Description of Work: I needed a pine tree, that was very close to my house, taken down. The stump needed to be ground, as well as 2 other stumps.

Description of Work: I have used Hoppys in the past to remove trees without any difficulty. However this time has not gone so well. I called their office and spoke with a women who said an estimator would contact me to schedule a time to look at the job.

Description of Work: Tree cutting services are difficult to get. We called several and never even received call backs. Hoppy's responded to our call with a day and rendered services on the day they provided as well as the cost of the services. We were very pleased with the services from Hoppy's - we had several trees cut down. I would recommend Hoppy's highly to anyone interested in tree cutting services AND responses to their phone calls!

Description of Work: Removed a large Pine tree from corner of yard.

Description of Work: We called Hoppy's to ask for a quote to remove a few "weed" trees in our backyard. We are replacing an old chain link fence with a new wooden fence and needed a few problem trees removed in order to remove the fence. Some of these trees were growing through the fence. He couldn't make it out when we were home and he insisted on quoting while he was in the area and we weren't home. He called my husband while in the backyard to talk about the quote. He was very exaggerative over how much work needed to be done and how difficult it would be. He was very concerned about nearby power lines and expressed issues with lawn furniture and planters around the property. He wanted to use a cherry picker and said one could not fit through the driveway into the backyard. He was very flustered over the amount of work. He left a quote for $2800 that required several silly things like moving the furniture and planters (of course) and he wanted the fence removed prior to his tree removal...

Description of Work: Hoppy's came and removed two trees as well as took care of the grinding of the stumps.

Description of Work: We contacted Hoppy's in May 2012 to come out and give us an estimate to cut down some trees. They came out and gave a decent estimate. However, they never came out to do the job!!!!

Description of Work: Had them come out to top off a damaged tree and to remove a stump. They did top off the tree but didn't do the stump . Numerous calls ,one guy did come back and said would be back with smaller grinder,,,never came back. I tried again this spring,,,several calls, was promised a call back...it's the end of may and still no Hoppy's...

Description of Work: They removed two trees for me. This involved cutting down the trees and then grinding the stumps down. They also trimmed two other trees for me.

Description of Work: A tree had fallen and this company secured it until they could come back the next day and cut it down. Once they cut down the tree, they also ground up the stump. It was a very large tree and it actually fell on the neighbor's house.
