Description of Work: I hired them to install a sump pump in my father's basement and paint it. The paint was thin, not the right type for basement walls. The cost was very high for only doing 3 of the 4 basement walls. The salesman told me the inner wall didn't need to be done. While doing the job, the hired workers told me they would do the fourth wall for another $500, that it needed to be done to do the job the right way. I call that a "bait and switch"

+ -1 more.All went well. they drilled part of my basement floor in my family room and inmy laundry room put in crushed stone and piping sort of likea french drain and then poured cement over it. Did a nice job! They also put in a new sump pump which i really needed mine had been there since i bought the house back in 1982. I only has one complaint I wished they had put some sort of plastic up when they were drilling it was very dusty other than that they were great and I would definitely recommend this Company. Just the fact that the work is guaranteed for as long as you own your home and is also transferable to the new home owner should you sell your house this is an added plus!!
Description of Work: This was a follow up visit my first encounter with them was in nov. of 2013. They drilled around the perimeter of my foundation. They were prompt and got the job done. I'm not quite sure when i had them come out again and perform the same service. probably about a year later. I want to state the the area that I live in the soil is all clay and the homes in the neighborhood all have sump pumps. I felt as though the price was sort of steep but I liked the fact that if i had any problems or concerns they would come and check it out at no cost to me. I had been having the water problem for a number of years and any type of improvement would be welcomed. Well this last time I called I was in the process of having some stairs installed and noticed at the base of the cement stair there was a puddle of water seeping through so before I had anything replaced I phoned them again and they sent someone out to look at my problem. He told me what would have to be done and then set up an appointment for me. It was in late fall and they would not be able to get to me until March whick was ok. So this month they came on time and got right to work they were done in about 4 Hrs. I thought for sure it would take all day but t didn't.

After project, tried contacting contractor without answer. Disappointed in post-work communication. Would not use again solely for communication breakdown.

+ 0 moreThe team showed up Monday right on time and got right to business. Within the first hour they had finished the demolition of the existing flooring and had begun on the walls, and opening up the concrete floor to replace the drainage tile. By the second day they had removed the old drainage tile, placed the new tile, and had most of the project cleaned up. Today, day three, will be the last day. Every member of the Wet Basement team has been professional, courteous, prompt, and incredibly polite. They have patiently answered questions, walked us through the details of the process and have kept us in the loop the whole way through the project. They have cleaned up the whole time they have been working. All of the debris was removed by hand with buckets and you would hardly know they were moving through the entryway of the house to get outside. It is my pleasure to say that this was the most diligent, hard working crew that we have ever hired. I don't think these guys even took breaks! I hope that we never have to do a project like this again, but if we did, this would be the company that would do it. If you are considering basement work, save yourself time and aggravation, call Wet Basement Solutions.

+ -1 moreThey were very responsive and punctual. They were very messy. They left a lot of the sticky material they used on my brick patio, and it is still there. They had to come back a few times because the work was uneven and the quality was not that good.

+ 0 moreThe job was scheduled on June 21st. I took the day off and they were to be necessarily. The owner and his executive chief showed up at 4:30 to look over the job and they had to be back in 45 minutes. They were about 5 blacks away finishing a job. The people were pleasant, but they were suppose to put the furniture back and they didn’t. I am a 55-year-old, single with several health problems.
Description of Work: Wet Basement Solutions has finished the rooms in my basement (to the basement) needed to have a trench dug around the outside walls to expose the footer. A well sump pump was installed, drain and washed stone installed, and it was exhausted over the trench.
