About us

Nickels Energy Solutions (NES) is a Syracuse-based solar installation company. We focus on building relationships with homeowners and educating the local community on the financial and environmental benefits of solar energy. Nickels Energy Solutions was founded by Steve and Kevin Nickels - two brothers born and raised in Syracuse, NY. Steve developed a passion for renewable energy while earning his Engineering degree from Rochester Institute of Technology. As the company President, Steve manages the design and installation of residential and commercial solar installations. Kevin graduated from Le Moyne College and has worked as a sales professional in Central New York for the last 5 years. Kevin manages the Sales and Marketing activity for Nickels Energy Solutions as the company's Vice President. Steve and Kevin are supported by five additional employees that manage the company's growing design, sales and solar installation needs.
