Excellent....would not use anyone else!!!

We had a small master bathroom (5' x 7') completely gutted (including removal of a corner shower stall and linoleum flooring) and remodeled. Unlike some contractors we have used previously, Nick and his crew were a pleasure to work with The major work was installing a tile shower, which ended up being much bigger (approximately 5' x 3') than the shower stall we had originally, and it turned out beautifully. - My wife and I agonized for days over the perfect tile layout, but Nick was able to make our design a reality with expert workmanship and no hassle. - The drain had to be relocated so that it was centered within the new space. Another contractor who had bid indicated he would have to cut through the ceiling on the floor below to complete the task (!). Nick instead obtained access from the bathroom itself by removing the sub-floor, thereby negating the need to repair the ceiling. In addition, he used the opportunity to reinforce the framing to support the poured concrete shower pan. - Nick removed all the drywall and installed cement board in the areas to be tiled. He then used a rubber liner as a waterproofing measure that extended almost one foot up the wall. - After the shower was tiled, he recommended installing a glass wall, which would enclose the shower but still let the beautiful tile work remain visible. In addition, we wouldn't have the cleaning hassles with a sliding door, and this proved to be a perfect solution. Nick also laid a ceramic tile floor in the remaining bathroom space (approximately 5' x 4'), including radiant electric heat underneath. Little electrical work was required, as we already had 220V wired for a baseboard electric heater and wall thermostat. But Nick did the leg work of picking out the required unit and control thermostat . The ceramic tile was laid per our design and matches the tiled shower beautifully The bathroom originally had wallpaper, which my wife and I removed with a steamer prior to Nick initiating the work. Needless to say, some drywall damage resulted, but Nick hired a subcontractor at a reasonable price (about $150) to put a skim coat on the wall. In addition, the original light fixture had no electrical box; the cable was just coming through a big hole in the wall. So the $150 included the drywall guy patching this hole, and Nick installed an electrical box in the perfect location to accept our new light fixture. Once the major work was completed, Nick capped the job by installing the toilet, vanity, sink and corresponding plumbing (including new shutoff valves which he concluded had reached end of life), medicine cabinet, and a towel bar. He also installed the thermostat and then talked me through on the phone how to set it up properly. The only reason he did not install the light fixture is because we didn't have an appropriate one on hand by the time he finished up. In fact, he pointed out that the hanging shades on the original fixture we picked out would prevent light bulb replacement due to interference with the medicine cabinet; other contractors we have used previously would not have been so conscientious. Throughout the 5 or 6 days he was actually on the job, he was always available to answer my questions via call or text. He was always professional and never once got agitated. And you can tell Nick takes pride in his work as his workmanship is top notch, which is saying something since I am a bit of a perfectionist. Fantastic!! So excited to see the results! It was a small bathroom so they arrived on Monday and completed the job on Friday!! The price was very reasonable, as a matter of fact I had three contractors come out to quote estimates! One never contacted me with a estimate, one wanted to charge me $49. per hour and quoted 110 hours plus materials, and removal of debris, Nick however quoted prices with installation and removal charges and did the work in less than 40 ours!!! Great job Nick and crew! Next week the Main Bathroom will be done also!! I will differently use Nick when it comes time to remodel our kitchen!!! Nick and his crew were friendly, courteous and respectful to my husband and I but also our home! Everyday they put drop clothes down and cleaned before they left!!

Nick is the best service provider I've ever found on Angie's List. We were incredibly happy with every aspect of our project. The process was orderly, efficient, and clean. The service was amazing; Nick and his team were always super professional. They were pleasant, responsive, and considerate. They even tried to work quietly while my infant son slept during the work. And the final product just wowed us; it's absolutely beautiful. Nick takes such immense pride in his work; we feel like he treated our home like his own. Other contractors we worked with can learn from his calm, confidence, and communication skills. There was never any doubt about why he was doing what he was doing. He was totally in control of the project and transparent about everything, which any customer would appreciate. The only thing we're sorry about is we don't currently have the budget to do a complete kitchen renovation with him. When the time comes, it'll be an absolute pleasure working with him again. He's the only person we'll hire from now on. Nick is the best; a total craftsman and professional.

Nick did and excellent job, he was very professional and meticulous. The existing floor was unleveled and he made sure it was corrected before installation of the tiles. Always on time and completed on schedule.

This job could not have gone better. Nick and Bruno were incredibly efficient, professional, neat, and friendly. It was a pleasure working with them. We plan to have them back for more work soon. Recommend highly!

My husband and I are remodeling a townhouse. The master bath was too big a project and we wanted someone who could see our vision and execute it. Nick was the man. We had interviewed other companies for tile, however, Nick came through with the flexibility to work us in between his other projects. Since we were under construction, the project could be done in sections over time. This project included installing a mud mat shower floor with a linear drain and marble curb. Nick's Kitchen and Bath Remodeling handled it all expertly. The shower area was just studs. This project also involved installing Durock on the walls, 10" X 14" wall tiles (cut and installed around a complex shower system) to the ceiling, shower niche, shelf and listello insert around the shower stall, installing a heat mat on the floor with carrara marble floor tiles and marble sills to transition to hardwoods. Nick also installed the 72" vanity and counter we had ordered. The project spread over two months, however, that included our vacation and the installer's vacation. We are very pleased with the work.

He did a nice job. We like him a lot. The cost of the service included the cost of the tile. It is quartzite tile. It is a small front porch, but he did a really nice job. He was pretty efficient. He did exactly what we wanted him to do. This tile was installed on a concrete slab. He was able to tile the edge of the slab as well as the side itself. He also did our front steps. It really looks beautiful. We are really happy with his craftsmanship.

$4500.00 was for the labor. We picked out the tile, shower doors, tub, sinks, faucets, vanity. It was either delivered to the house, we picked it up or Nick picked it up. It only took them about 2 weeks to do both bathrooms partly because I didn't buy all the items needed. I thought that they could have been a little neater when they left each day, but I don't know how neat other contractors are. I just picked up after they left. We are very pleased with the work that they did and will have them back to install tile and countertop in the kitchen.

Nick and his helper completed the job in one day. The cost was as quoted.
