Called this company twice now... Once on a Saturday after hours to leave a voicemail and get the process started. No response. Called again the following Tuesday during business hours... no answer, same answering machine. Moving on...

They were super efficient and always showed up on time. They are very friendly. Everytime I had to leave and run errands I felt very safe leaving them alone in the house. I would highly recommend their service.

Vince from Modern Homes was responsive from the initial call for an estimate on our very old dated bathroom. I had many contractors come out and give estimates. Vince was the only one who was helpful in making suggestions and giving some very useful ideas. The bathroom was totally gutted to the studs. The electrical was repaired, an old bathtub was removed, sinks, old closets, old tile floor removed, everything went. The project went very smoothly, Vince, Patrick and Todd did everything. They were neat, I think they swept my floor more than I do. Vince, Patrick and Todd were very responsive and along the way gave some great ideas. They were very patient with me, as I made multiple purchases and returns of lights, they even installed another toilet for me after I changed my mind and purchased another toilet for the new bathroom. The tile work came out beautiful, I had new floors and walls re-done in tile. Vince gave great suggestions for purchasing these items. I struggled finding just the right cabinetry for the bathroom. Vince came with me to Kitchen Express to help pick out cabinetry and sinks. I was impressed. Best Tile was fantastic in helping me pick out just the right tile, grout etc. I would not hesitate to call Vince and his team again for any project that I have. The entire project took approximately 2 weeks, the bathroom was usable after a week. I feel fortunate to have found a company that takes great pride in their work, their craftsmanship is really beautiful.

Took a little longer than planned to complete due to vendor not having all tub/shower fixtures available as promised both us and this contractor. We feel the delay was not caused by MHC. MHC was very helpful on suggeted changes.Contractor acted and performed in a very professional manner. We were very satisfied with MHC and the completed project.

When I contacted Vince the original estimate was higher than my budget allowed. When I told him my budget He worked with me to bring down the cost and explained everything in detail. We modified he original estimate to meet my families needs while still within my budget. They began working 2days later and finished within the timeframe we spoke about. The crew at Modern Home Contractors were professional, on time and did a fantastic job! We're very impressed with the quality of work performed! Definitely a great company with great customer service, experience and professionalism. We will be calling Vince in the near future for more projects.

Dan Topple the master carpenter did a great job and we are very pleased with the outcome. Dan and his helper were very polite, prompt, and cleaned every evening before they left. Job took a little bit longer than we expected but the outcome was well worth it.

Vince, the owner of the company was very easy to deal with. He was very helpful as I had lots of questions and needed some direction when picking out my cabinets and the tiles. His son Patrick and another contractor Gary were so pleasant and professional. They worked hard every day and cleaned up each day before they left. There tile work was excellent. We had our shower tiled from floor to ceiling with subway tiles and glass tiles. They also tiled the floor. The installation of all the cabinets, shower base, countertop and sinks, lights, etc. were all done perfectly. There were a few delays with the cabinet company as at the first delivery one of the cabinets was damaged. Patrick immediately called the cabinet company and ordered a new one. There was also a delay with the delivery of the countertop and sinks which held up the job being finished. None of these delays were the fault of Modern Home Contractors. They did everything in their power to move the job along. I plan to have my kitchen remodeled next Spring and will definitely hire them again. I hope that Patrick and Gary will come back to do my kitchen. It can be difficult having your house remodeled but they did everything to make it easier and we did not mind having them around at all. Even my two dogs were excited to see them every morning! My bathroom is beautiful and we are so very happy with the work done.

Overall we liked the company. He is very busy and sometimes our schedules could not mesh so the time from getting quotes, to refining the quote to getting on a schedule took longer than i anticipated. Had to call to remind of a meeting but he is very busy for a reason, he is good. Cost was not that mush of an issue although he did come in a few thousand dollars more than who we signed with. Again, cost was not the issue. He was a very close second.

Professional, punctual, and the baths look wonderful. excellent quality of work for a reasonable price. This is the third time I used their services, the last being 10 years ago when they installed a full bath in our basement and helped remodel part of our kitchen.

We were very happy with the quality of their work and their communication with us through the whole project. The started when they said they would and always communicated if they ran into any type of delay. Vince (owner), his son Patrick and other members of his crew were punctual, professional and very knowledgeable. They provided many helpful suggestions as we went through the project. We are using them again for our next project - remodeling our main floor bathroom.

Vince and his subcontractors were always on time neat and organized and I felt I could leave them alone for short periods while I had to do other things They were trustworthy and professional

Very happy with the results. The job did take longer than expected , but well worth the wait . A few minor problems that were quickly resolved . Vince has workers that are considerate and very easy to work with . A pleasure to do business with this company. This is the 4th time we have used his services, and will continue

My wife and I purchased a home in 2012 and over time we found many flaws, in particular with the addition that was built 6 years prior to our purchase. The roof and ceiling were not built to code, the back deck and side patio were also not built properly causing a great deal of water damage to the sub-floor and wood behind the siding. We called Vince and he gave us quotes for the job, a timeline, and walked us through the entire project from start to finish. His crew was on time, professional and friendly. Vince was even great with my 3 year old daughter and wrote her name on the drywall before it was painted over...she loved it! His crew is very talented and their work was precise. A jack-of-all-trades, Vince and his crew did drywall, carpentry, minor electrical, painting, demolition, etc. I would use Vince and his crew again and would recommend them to anyone looking for small or major renovations.

Gary was on time. friendly and the job turned out excellent this is our 3rd time having them work in our home. We are always happy with the quality and cost is fair.

Vince, who is the owner was very easy to work with. He took our ideas and presented his options, which resulted in an incredible finished product. His work was punctual, professional and pleasant.

Vince had done work for us previously, so we had confidence in his work and suggestions - he is great to work with, efficient and very tidy. We will be working with him again soon as we need our bathroom remodeled.

Walter proposed doing work and cost. Started and finished in time. Showed up on time throughout project. Minimum disruption to neighbors. Cleaned up every day.

Fantastic job i would highly recommend modern home contractors for any job large or small.

Overall room looks good. Worker/s very punctual and kept area clean. My biggest issue was how long work took. Suppose to be done in days took weeks. Needed more workers, 90% of time, only had one guy working. Would not use again. Looking for more professional job. Work looked fine for laundry room. but never would use for a Kitchen or Bath.

All the workers involved were very thorough in their workmanship. I loved the plumber he was very professional and thorough. All of them when they left said that if we had any problems to call them and we haven't had any problems at all.
