Charles Heating and Air Conditioning

Price is in the high end, but they came to fix what needed to be fix.

We redid our master bath in October, 2013, including installation of a new toilet. Fast forward to August, 2014 when a clogged drain lead to water damage to the ceiling below. We called a local plumber who found the clog and cleared it. He also found that the toilet had been installed incorrectly rendering the original plumbing to that toilet unusable. Charles gave us an estimate which we accepted, and they did the repairs. The gentleman who made the estimate was punctual, polite, and professional as were the plumbers who made the repairs. From a homeowner's perspective, it was all very easy, and we are pleased with the results.

Great, they arrived on time and hit the ground running. They worked fast and efficient and answered any question that I had. When they finished they cleaned up everything. I am an Engineer and usually am hard to impress but these guys impressed me. Good company and a pleasure to do business with.

Our first positive experience was with David who came to our home to give us several job estimates. He was polite, concise, and offered very helpful advice. Once we decided to move ahead on one of the jobs (our master bath remodel), we were added to the schedule in a very timely manner. The job was started on time, however, the job took longer than was originally estimated because we kept adding more stuff to their list of things to do. Rob and Kevin were very nice, understanding, and patient. They did an amazing job with all of the features and details. We are very happy with our new bathroom!

The workman arrived on time and completed the installation in about 4 hours. He was very courteous and answered all my questions. He removed the old furnace and left the area clean.

Provider wasn't interested in negotiating the price. They installed an A/C system in my son's house 2 weeks earlier. Price seemed very reasonable, so I contacted them. They quoted me a much higher price for the same unit, and would not negotiate. My son has the exact style and sq ft house I have, (I told the rep that,) and I live 3 miles closer to the business, so travel couldn't have been the issue. I can't say whether product and service was good or bad. I hired a competitor and paid cash.

They finished in one day the a/c hadn't worked as well in years.

The GM came out in a timely manner, however we still have not received a quote. I have made numerous calls. I also received one call last week that explained the initial delay was due a change in promotions and that the quote would be available by Thursday of last week. I followed-up with two additional, and still no quote. We would like a Lennox AC unit, but we may end up with another brand.

The old tank hot water heater broke. Got three estimates. Charles Heating and Plumbing was the lowest estimate, but they were honest with the price and what was needed. Took 6 hours to do the work. Paid at the end.

The sales person was very knowledgeable, personable and informative. He gave us estimates on a few Lennox furnaces at different price points and efficiencies. The installation guys were on time and professional. They thoroughly discarded all debris from the old furnace, humidifier, and air conditioner. Clean, neat and dependable.

We moved in recently and need a furnace inspection. We called and set up an appointment in December because we were told there was a discount. The tech arrived promptly and seemed to know what he was doing. He answered many of my questions and even turned up the fan speed for me. I was very pleased with this experience and am considering getting a contract with the company.

Very punctual on estimate day and installation day. Installed new wiring etc. where needed, all included in original estimate. Spent time with familiarizing us with (new) programmable thermostat. Were finished in 4 hours.

I contracted with another authorized Lennox dealer for purchase and installation of the furnace and A/C unit.

Their prices were too high. They weren't able to fix the furnace; there is a crack in it. They were fast and they got here right away but they were just too pricey and they kept calling for the money. The service was good and they were punctual.

I will continue to use them in the future.

We have an annual contract with them to be silver members and so they come out and inspect and clean our heating and air twice a year. They are good.

They were prompt and they were okay.

They were good to work with. They cleaned up after themselves. The pricing was reasonable. They were professional. Everything is holding up very well.

First time servicing - as the new owner Did furnace service - found that the humidifier had never worked even though the previous service company had for years checked it off as working - the technician discovered that the water line tap had never punctured so it never could have worked and there was no sensor on the air duct to measure the humidity levels. The expense thermostat with the touch screen controls and multiple settings was not working and was overkill as the furnace was a simple one stage setup. Overall I am very pleased with Charles Heating. I almost hired the previous owners company who obviously had been ripping them off. Charles Heating was well qualified, knew what they were doing and did it right the first time. Highly recommend

I think they did okay as it is still running. I would recommend them to others. Price wise they are all the same. I will continue to use them in the future.

They were on time, professional, explained in detail what was going to happen.

They were really friendly and knowledgeable. They fixed the problem. They did not over charge. I will use them in the future.

My experience with them was good. I am not sure of the quality of their work though. I would use them again in the future if necessary.
