Sub contractors were hired to do tree and stump work and shed pad was never done. The company that I hired did nothing.

Came out lightning fast on a Friday morning (that was good). A small conifer (maybe 25-30 feet tall) had fallen across my driveway. Took one look at it and said $600. For one stupid tree, only 14-16 inches thick at the base, already fallen and its root flare partially popped up. My interpretation: Opportunistic, saw that I was stuck, needed it done, quoted a ridiculous price. We paid $600 or $700 in 2009 for TWO full grown trees' removal (plus stump grinding), PLUS front and back yard trimming, PLUS a couple of shrubs - I sure as heck wasn't going to pay $600 for ONE tree removal that was already mostly down. I told him so, and he got snippy with me, so I just turned my back on him and walked back to my house and he continued to snap at me as I was walking away. Unbelievable. I ended up calling another local company and getting it done for around 1/3 the price.

Josh Chapman offered to come and do yard work, and said that I could then pay him what I thought it was worth. He came and did part of the work we talked about, and I gave him $300. because that was a generous price for the work completed. He then proceeded to try to extort $600. from me by calling repeatedly, including in the middle of the night. I would never do business with this guy again.
