 + -1 moreI should have called Mr. Haacke in the first place - he is the one who originally tried to repair my laptop but it had fried motherboard and the cost was not worth it but rather to get a new LT. I had told him I would call him if I needed work on my desktop but I didn't use my head , listened to this so called friend and almost paid dearly for it. Thank heavens Mr,.Haacke had the abilities and knowledge to rescue my desktop, save it and made it BETTER than new. I promised I would NEVER EVER fool with my computer again - I will call AAA Computer Repair - for any service work or for that new laptop I want . He can built it to any configure I want ! I'm his customer for life !
Description of Work: I very foolishly & stupidly let a 'friend' help me to upgrade my desktop computer , I should have known better and called Mr Haacke in the first place, but no had to try to save a few $$$ . After the first go round with the friend and they had messed up the job completely and more, shame faced I called Mr. Haacke, pleading for help. He came the very next day and literally Saved both the day and my computer that I was lead to believe was toast !! Not only did he reapir what was done incorrectly/badly /poorly [ the battery port was bent - no contact - repaired ; replaced and repaired ram slots & added the ram that I originally wanted ] ; checked out the entire system ; advised on which security to run and advised me about getting a small exteral drive for back ups , he had one with him so I purchased it . He set up the external and also set it to run auto backups. This all was all completed within about an hour and three quarters..
