Excellent job pruning one very large tree and one small tree, along with yard clearance and cutting branches that had grown into a fence. I had also planned on cutting off the top third of the tree (over 60' feet), but Eric advised against it as it would kill the tree over time. When I had the chance, I ran upstairs and googled this and found that Eric knows what he's talking about. So just did the major pruning. Since there is no way to get to our backyard from the outside, the 3-man crew had to go back and forth through the house with all the branches and leaves. They did a great job of cleaning up once they were done (inside and out), even taking care of the neighbors' backyards of the debris from our tree. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

I called for an estimate and within a few hours one of the reps were at my house. They asked what I wanted to do. I explained what I wanted and the rep explained what they would be doing and gave me an estimate. I hired him to do the work and he scheduled the work to be performed a few days from the estimate date. He had told me that he'd be at my house between 8 and 8:30 am. The day the work was to be performed, his men were outside my house at 7:55am. I was pleasantly surprised and please. They began work shortly after arriving and were done by lunch time. The guys were courteous and very professional. Answering all of my husbands questions as they worked. They cleaned up as they worked and when they left my front and back yard looked better then when they arrived. I am extremely pleased with their work and will definitely hire them again.

The crew was professional and very hard working. The owner, Erik is extremely responsive and has an great memory for detail. I look forward to working with this company in the future.

Tielis did a fine spring clean up for us. We used another service previously and was unhappy with their work. I looked Tielis up and saw the great reviews. I spoke with Eric on several occasions about my property. They came by and did a great job. Will like for them to do fall and spring clean up's for us in the future.

Everything went smoothly and efficiently. They came with 5 men, worked quickly and were done in about 3 hours. They removed all of the debris. Our next door neighbor had a similar problem and he asked them if they could do his job at the same time. They accommodated him and he was also pleased with the work and the cost. Their cost was half of what we had been quoted by some other landscapers for the same work. We would not hesitate to call them again if needed.

We had a during evergreen in our backyard. What made is difficult were the telephone wires passing through the branches. The climber got to the top of the tree and carefully removed the branches one by one until the wires were no longer in danger of getting pulled down. Clean up was great, they did a professional job and once the snow clears, they'll return to remove the stump. I was very satisfied with the company, they men they employ and would definitely use them again.

I contacted them on 09/09/2013 and they never contacted me! No integrity at all! What because I am a woman?

Tielis Landscaping arrived on schedule to perform an estimate and they were hired soon thereafter. The job consisted of trimming trees around aerial phone wires and to remove branches of two trees rubbing against our neighbor's roof and our roof as well. In addition we requested gutter cleaning of the house and garage gutters, and while Eric, the proprietor of Tielis explained this was not their primary function, he agreed to do this as well. This was a big help to me as it would be great to have all of this kind of work done by one crew. The crew (5) arrived promptly on the scheduled day and performed as a flawless team, each person doing their job magnificently! As it turned out I had cement work done a few days before and we were told no heavy trucks could be brought on the property. When I suggested to Eric we re-schedule, he said no problem; his crews usually climb trees and did not have to bring trucks on the cement. This was true, Eric's crew arrived with climbing gear on and slung ropes all over the trees and trimmed major branches from the air! It was fascinating to watch this expert team do an amazing job of tree trimming. The limbs were lowered with care and neither mine nor the neighbors's wires were disturbed. Eric arrived early on and then returned later to supervise. He is so pleasant and easy to deal with. The crew did a perfect job and cleaned the area of all debris so that when they left several hours later you could not tell they had been there. The workers were gentlemen and very friendly too. Highest recommendations. This kind of work is not something an amateur should attempt as it involves heights and chainsaws, etc. I am completely happy with the work and the price I paid as well. There were a lot of men, machines, and skills present on this job. A winner all-around. Thanks Eric.

Eric came to prepare an estimate of cost and work hours Monday and he and his crew came promptly at 8:45 a.m. on Friday to begin the work. They brought a huge truck and wood chipper. Went quickly to work completing their task at about 2:30 p.m. as originally estimated. The work was meticulously executed and they cleaned up afterwards beautifully. Their ability to work after the previous day and early morning heavy rains was a marvel. By the time the sun came out in the afternoon all the work had been completed. I would have this company back in a heartbeat. Eric is very clear in what he can do for the prospective client after he listens to the clients needs anc concerns with suggestions. I am now able to concentrate on the cutting back and possible removal of trees and will be contacting Tielis for the next stage in getting the garden in proper shape.

The job Erik's crew performed was orchestrated like clockwork. Cesar, led the troupe by getting into a safety harness and strapping climbing spikes to his boots. They then started and quot;riggingand quot; the trees with safety ropes. I initially thought they may have to cancel, because it was 99 degrees on Friday, July 19th, but as Erik said, and quot;My guys like to work!and quot; and work they did! I had trouble just sitting on the deck watching them in that heat. I made sure to keep water and juice ready for the guys, but I was knocked out just from sitting in the he hot sun. To watch the acrobatics of these guys and see the hard work they did for SIX hours in the blazing hot sun was astonishing. They removed all the trees, carrying multiple sections of trunks and branches (carefully) through the first floor of our townhouse (the only access) without breaking any personal items or damaging the house or hallways. It really took an amazing combination of strength, energy and finesse to get this job done and to get it done so quickly without any concerns. One other company quoted us a price of $3,300 using a boom truck. Tielis came to the job with a company-owned tree mulcher and big dump truck. This, along with four skilled workers was all that was needed. Discussing the job with Erik's was a pleasure... he's experienced, knowledgeable, down to earth and very reasonable in his prices. Some reviews incorrectly state that Tielis is not insured. That's not true... as stated above, he is insured and provided certificates for insurance and worker's compensation. Erik and TIELIS know what they're doing. Having hired a half dozen contractors, I know the process can be exhausting, but Tielis made it simple. Tielis is the right choice for tree service work. I wholeheartedly recommend using them and advise you to call him soon. TIELIS did more than they promised at a price that was less than than their competitors.

The crew arrived right on time and began assessing the work and setting up what would be needed for the job. Although the tree was very tall, a and quot;climberand quot; was used. It was amazing to see him up so high and able to use his tools to trim the branches. The men were amazing as a team. Branches were taken away and shredded almost before they hit the ground! The crew was professional, friendly, respectful and knew exactly what to do. The men cleaned up all the small debris (leaves, sticks, sawdust, etc.) beautifully. And, the work was completed in less than 2 hours! I would not hesitate to use Tielis Tree Service again for any of my tree work.

He was very professional and very nice. I felt the price was little too high, but this one the first estimate so it may be the running cost, I had nothing else to compare it to.

Eric came to my house to give me an estimate the same dayI called him.His price was fair.As per our agreement ,he came back the next day with his crew of four to take care of the trees.The job was done quickly and expertly.They did a good job of cleaning up afterwards and left me the firewood that I requested.Although Angie's List indicates that this company is not insured,Eric assured me they were fully insuredand licensed. They were courteous, timely, careful and cleaned up thoroughly when they finished. I would use them again without hesitation.

Arrived at appointed time to provide estimate for removal of large Magnolia tree. Provided a very reasonable and fair estimate for tree removal including stump grinding and cutting back two additional trees on property line. Crew showed up on schedule ,performed agreed upon service and left our rear yard clean and neat. Highly recommended and will definately use again.

Received estimate from Eric Tielis - he told me he had one available date in the next few days but I told him I would't be home that day - he told me not to worry, he would take care of everything. When I arrived home late in the afternoon (the day of service) everything had been completed with no mess left behind - great job! Eric came by later that evening to collect payment.

Eric Tielis, the owner, was very professional. He was always responsive to phone calls. The price he gave me for the job was very fair. Job was done quickly and cleanly. He has a great crew and I look forward to hiring him again to do landscape maintenance. Highly recommended.

My lawn is okay, but not beautiful. My neighbors' yards look better than mine. I hardly ever see them. I will keep using them. They're local and I like to keep my business local. They don't aggravate me. We don't really have a relationship, but they get the work done.

It is a handshake agreement of providing services once a week. I have the services scheduled for 10 months out of the year. They offer personalized attention, reliability and customer satisfaction. They are wonderful about follow-up calls to assure I am satisfied with their work.

THIS GUYS IS A LITTLE EXPENSIVE BUT HE DOES AN FAIR JOB. HE COMES ONCE A WEEK TO CUT THE GRASS AND TRIM THE EDGES. THE LAWN LOOKS FINE AFTERWARDS, IT IS EVEN AND HE CLEANS UP.

YOU HAVE TO KEEP AN EYE ON THE WORKERS, OR ELSE THEY DON'T DO EVERYTHING THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO. HOWEVER, THEY DO AN OKAY JOB. THE OFFICE IS VERY RESPONSIVE AND HAVE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
