Description of Work: I highly recommend Randazzo Masonary. This past summer, Steve Randazzo and his team did a beautiful masonry job around my house. They replaced my front 2-car driveway (24 x 18 feet) and backyard patio (26 x 12 feet) with Nicolock pavingstones and they replaced the cement front sidewalk (120 feet) and the walkway (60 feet) from the driveway around to the backyard patio. The pavingstones look great and cement work was perfect. I was amazed they were able to complete the entire job in just 6 days (Monday thru Friday and then finishing on Monday). I got quotes from four highly rated masonry companies from Angie’s List. Three companies quoted within $2000 of each other and one quoted three times the cost of the others (of course I quickly eliminated that company). Of the remaining three, I thought they all would do a good job but Steve was able to start the job in 3 weeks and the other two could not start for a few months so I went with Steve. Nobody could have done a better or quicker job than Steve so I am lucky to have selected him. Steve does the work hands on assisted by his team so you know you are always going to get the same great work that I had done. The way he laid out the pavingstones was like a work of art. Take my advice and include Randazzo Masonary when quoting masonry work and go with Steve.

+ -1 moreThey came on time replaced the top landing with new brick since what was there could not be replaced. I am very happy with the job. It blends in great with my walk way (they also fixed top of walkway which was loose they concreted it up) and does not look like a repair looks like it belongs.
Description of Work: We had a stoop with 3 steps that was falling apart. We needed to repair them. Some other companies would not do a repair only a replace. Randazzo would do the repair and the cost seemed inline.

Description of Work: It was a small job. He did a 10ft x 10ft patio (pavers) with a retaining wall and a 13ft x 7ft concrete pad. He did it all in one day!

+ 1 moreUnlike other estimates (which were quoted as 'unknown cost' until they could dig), Randazzo Masonary came in and offered a different solution. He suggested pulling out small tree since roots seemed to be part of the overall problem, then filling gaps with concrete and repair all of the pavers, finished by powerwashing. Saved a lot of time and, most importantly, money. They scheduled job based on mutual convenience and worked efficiently to complete. Looks like new walkway and stoop. (Also, love supporting local businesses!)
Description of Work: Lawn sinking underneath walkway pavers - Cesspool company recommended all pavers to be dug up then patched once underground area could be assessed.

+ 1 moreSteve called promptly and literally scheduled the work the very next day. Him and his "guy" worked quickly and were meticulous about ensuring the work came out right. Site was left in generally good condition. Some cement residue was left on grass near building which would not have been a big deal, but it is synthetic turf and it will never "grow" out. Nonetheless, this was minor when seen in perspective. The original price was 100.00 less but when the work was underway, loose blue stone was found and the cost to re-cement was 100.00. I don't blame Steve for this, but it is a relevant detail. All in all, I am very happy with the work they did and I would definitely use them in future masonry work.?
Description of Work: Installed cobblestones on either side of walkway. Repaired blue stone walkway replacing one section and re-adhering loose pieces. Ground out old mortar and repaired/re-pointed joints. Applied Stucco on both sides of one stoop.

He came to the house, suggested several ideas and confirmed that we would not need to replace the steps and stoop leading into the house. His estimate was between the high and low ones and we gave him the job. Steve and his crew arrived promptly on the start date and began the job. On day two, they arrived an hour earlier due to the threat of rain. Bottom line, the new walkway looks awesome. I have no hesitation recommending Steve,

We picked Randazzo after reading some horror story reviews here on Angie's List about other masonry contractors while Randazzo's were uniformly positive. Well everyone was right! First,very prompt SAME DAY response to our voicemail inquiry.Second,next day visit to survey required work and provide estimate-which was fair and reasonable...no low-ball price to "hold" the job or set up a bump on job day. Third, work was scheduled within a few days. Fourth,Steve Randazzo showed up EXACTLY on time on day scheduled. Fifth, work was done carefully, neatly including a difficult match to our 70 year old brickwork. Finally,the cleanup left our home as impeccably clean as it was when Steve began work. We'd use him again without a second thought and plan to make neighbors with similar brick stairs, stoops and patios aware of Steve. This is old-fashioned quality and reliability.

+ 1 moreStevef from Randazzo Masonry and his team repaired my brick patio. A section of the brick patio had been sinking and a brick had broken off. Steve and his team removed a large section of brick pavers to diagnose the problem and appears there was sizable hole underground, probably from an old septic tank at one point in time. They filled the hole with sand/cement, leveled the patio, layed the brick back in place, and filled the gaps with sand. Overall, Steve and his team did a fantastic job. Steve was responsive from the beginning and was able to accommodate my schedule. If you're looking for a mason that is responsive, professional, does quality work, has fair pricing and is punctual, Randazzo Masonry should be on the top of your list.

My husband did mention this to them but the they stated that it would be ok. The work came out nicely but not entirely what we wanted.

About 7 months later and through the harsh winter, everything is still great with the concrete and pavers. I would recommend him and would certainly consider his company for any further masonry work we need at our home.

He spent more time with us than anyone else, answering questions and giving us his opinion on our ideas and offering others ultimately saving us money. He started job on date promised, was on the job each day and finished before schedule. He and his crew were friendly and professional.
