It pains me to write this because we liked Tito as a person... very much so - but I don't want anyone to go through what we have just gone through. Do not trust!!!!! It has always been hard to get in touch with Tito. He won't always answer his cell phone - but after a week or two he'd give us a call back. He always had a reason and we really didn't think much of it. It was never really so important until now. We met with Tito numerous times and when we finally came to the end and decided on our plan (finishing and remodeling basement) we were told by Tito to have our basement emptied and clear for him to go on Tuesday, 5/23/17. Last weekend we didn't go into work, missed our sons sports games for school - all to clear out our basement. Which we rented a POD for and are currently paying for. 90 percent of our kids toys are in there. Packed away. It is now Saturday. No word from Tito. No calls. We have left numerous messages. Texts. Even reaching out to his secretary Antoinette - who even still tells us she doesn't know. He's working on job sites. Probably not good cell service and she doesn't have a "magic number for him". Not only now are we paying for a POD we didn't need right away - we have to now start from square one getting new estimates. This was something we needed done pretty quickly and Tito promised us the world. He was recommended to us by a family friend. We've seen his work. We even have referred him to people we know as well. All we asked for was an answer. A phone call back. At first even if he said "sorry, please can you bear with me maybe in a week" we would have understood. But there's been no communication. No decency of a call and we feel the need to notify others of this. My husband works a crazy schedule and the basement was somewhere I could go with my three kids to keep the house quiet when he slept during the day and now nothing is in there. We completely put trust in Tito and we were blindsided. It's completely wrong and unfair of him and even his secretary to treat anyone this way. Please, if you talk to Tito for an estimate or what have you ... please be cautious. This has been nothing but a headache for us. We are nice people and always expect the best from others and have definitely learned our lesson.
